Every man and his dog, other then Potter knows it should be Anasta, not Austin who gets dropped from the team.Apart from Farah and Brooks,Austin is the only other player that has shown any spark in creating a try.

This a million times over. Austin is a talent and he's really getting the raw end of the pineapple here, particularly now people are calling for Moses and Sirro to play in the halves instead.

Moses is ready killed it in 20's, killed it in state cup he is a class above.
Austin is average just looks good because Anasta is so poor. For me its tim for Koro to come in and Lawrence to go to NSW Cup. Nofo and Simoa look to be a strike centre combo.

This will happen eventually I feel at some stage this year.

I think we definitely need Moses out there. I'm not sure we should drop Lawrence however Koro deserves a call up. Moses for Anasta and Austin dropping off the bench though which gives us 4 forwards to me would have the biggest impact on the team.

I'd also drop Sue off the bench for Akaoula.

Moses is just not ready for top grade. Extremely tempting but not ready.
We will benefit by holding him back and giving him an offseason.

Maybe give him a couple of 30 minute cameos late in the season.

I wonder if people callng for him to play have actually seen him play or understand how much lack of muscle he has on him for a five eight. Needs 5 or 7kg in offseason. Already has the cmbinations down pat with Teddy and Brooks and Siro. Will slot in easily.

if with SC on this.

He is really lacking in upper body mass.

According to the Tigers site:
Brooks is 179cm and 89kgs
Moses is 182cm and 80kg

That is a good comparison Madunit. I think back to myself and while slightly taller I was 80kgs in 3rd form at high school (year 9 to you younger forum readers).

An off season will do him the world of good...don't really want him getting dominated due to his lack of size.

He is willing in contact while defending but his narrow frame means he is prone to allowing easy offloads and being trampled.

A year in NSW Cup will help along with an off season. It may temper his arrogance a bit too

This is right, like Brooks, he's not scared to get involved in defence.

Therein lies the problem. Given his slight frame, his eagerness to make tackles etc could see it backfire on him and get him injured.

He would be a target for sure in our defence line due to his size, has obvious talent and attitude,is reluctant to run ball sometimes but really just needs time to grow and build himself up before he will play a long time in the NRL.

Every one on the radio and all the experts are tipping Newcastle.... we are near full strength..
What am I missing? I think tigers should dominate this game.

Big big danger game for us, we have been poor for over a month, we are playing the Knights at home who have some very good footballers who have been copping a pasting from their fanatical supporters. I think they will be fired up big time. I can understand why the bookies have them in front of us

We are only missing Gavet from our top team. Our forwards should be fresh from the week off and Woods will come back better from origin. If the attitude is there from the kickoff we should see the Tigers score a swag of points.

I don't see how Knights are favourites - they are demoralised from not getting paid, Tinkler bailing, uncertain futures etc. Not saying we are sure to win but I don't get how they are being tipped. We also have Farah back to provide some discipline that has been missing, as well as Tedseco ... sorry, I mean Teddy.

Knights havent been that bad in recent games, pretty close to us imo we havent been able to score points

While we get players back, theyre at home which is big for them, dickheads 100th or 200th game as well....and theres never been much between these two teams

I think we may be a bit excited by players coming back from injury and teddys good news, people expect we just have to show up to get the points

Toss of the coin

I'm semi worried because you can't expect guys coming back from long term injuries to suddenly be matchfit, on top of the other reasons brought up above.

I'd be happy with any kind of win in this tbh.

3, 2, 1 today?

For me

3. Woods
2. Teddy
1. Farah

Just caught the summary from the 2GB guys. They gave their award to Teddy.
