I want Yeo to have a spell in every non finals game but that certainly wasn't good timing

If Sommerton was on the bench we could have shifted Kenny to lock for 10 to 20 minutes earlier in game.

Not having your captain, best player and best defender on the field in that situation is terrible bench management.

If folks (not talking about you Luke) didn't go off half cocked about Ivan. Actually listened or watched his presser, you generally get these type of questions answered.

Ivan then went on to say the work load of the origin players this year has been higher because of our poor start to the year.

It's almost like folks who yell and scream when buying a new appliance but didn't bother to read the manual before attempting to use said appilance.

Workload is higher because Ivan has run them into the ground with poor benches and players who can’t be used.

Why pick Brad Schneider at all if he didnt plan to use him? The 4 minutes Schneider played were ‘unplanned’. Just like Daine Laurie last week. That doesn’t makes it better. It makes it worse.

Sommerton on bench can actually play and give guys a rest. Sommerton on for 20 around half time giving Yeo and possibly even Kenny (10 min each) a rest. Keeping our best defenders a bit fresher for the last 20 minutes.

Weve got one in waiting in the cup side, shapes up a solid NRL lock at least with very nice passing ability, need to see him more to say he might be better than solid since its such a tough job. Probably needs another offseason to add a little bit more size to handle all the defence though. Next year Phillips should be a great option to take some minutes off Yeo, can play elsewhere the rest of his minutes.

For now i think Sommo Kenny works well enough. It seems so reasonable.

He needs to just pick Cole in the14 and be done with it. He could easily cover 13 for any amount of time and be another ball playing threat. This Brad Schnieder love needs to be f**ked right off, he is just plain shit.

Leota not charged. It always looked to me like the pressure was on the shoulder rather than the neck, but I only watched it once. I thought it shouldn't have even been a penalty.

We were fleeced in the ruck all game. Did incredibly well to go into half time even. Yes we got some calls late which were crap decisions but would have had the Tigers broken to shit with an even call. This is how we’ve been officiated all year so we need to figure it out, although get to the finals and I bet they’ll lay off the ruck.

Our defence is looking a bit steadier which is nice. We’ve averaged just under 18 points a game since the losing streak was broken which is better than the Dogs average for the year. Forwards are looking better, Moses in particular, Ice adds a lot. If we can close out the Origin period 2-1 I think we could keep building into the season and be pretty tough to beat come finals, particularly if that left edge can get hot.

To be fair Doueihi just went into camp. No one is sure why though haha he was just there. Wasn't 18th or 19th man. Cody Ramsey also spent some time there as well.

Lindsay hasn't been picked off the back of amazing form. Not at his 2024 yet at all.

His selection is probably a nod to his exploits in last years finals series and his representation in the Australian squad. He does look like a future prospect. We should keep guys like them around the representative teams.

Also Terrell May has basically put a line through his own name. He would have been amongst the talk but he has slid down the order. That might have aided in Smith getting a call up.

Yep, he’s a weapon in defence and rock solid in defence…. The entire team has been down, but he’s been one of the shining lights. He’s looked good
