Sow Wow in reserves again.....................

I'm sure the coach would love to bring him back, certainly if we make the finals, but he has to demonstrate he has overcome the issues that led to him being dropped. You'd want to see him carving up the good sides and especially being effective in defence in NSW Cup to be confident about bringing him back.

DWZ listed in the Daily Telegraph casualty ward from yesterday as being out indefinitely with a shoulder injury.

Named in the team for Friday night and in the same newspapers late mail section today he is not mentioned at all?

We simply cannot afford another injury to one of our outside backs given we are stretched to the limit.

If DWZ is out I imagine we just replace him with Edwards.

Don't know Edwards has ever played on the wing? Fullback/Five Eighth seem to have been his only positions coming thru the juniors. Probably have to draw on someone within the second tier cap and I assume Edwards is only factored into the NYC Cap for 2016.

Anyone have some background on the new NYC players (Munchow and Burns)?

Braidon Burns is from Coonamble

Ritchie Munchow is from Darwin......but played MM cup for the Townsville Stingerays last year and played Ron MAssey Cup for Blacktown Workers this year.

That injury was caused in the Storm game, he's recovered from it.

Edwards played wing last year in Holden Cup.

We should win.... so that means we probably wont. Our goal line defense has been shocking this season.
Lucky for us Souffs are a rabble but if we give them a sniff they will embarrass us like the Titans did.
f**k that was bad to sit through.

There we go I found a link on the rumour.
Soward set for NRL return, says Wallace

James Segeyaro may be on his way to the Super League but Penrith teammate Jamie Soward looks set for an NRL return this weekend. Both players have been out of favour in recent weeks at the Panthers, but while there are reports linking Segeyaro to Leeds, Soward’s banishment from the top grade is almost over, with halfback Peter Wallace revealing the team have been preparing as though he will be facing South Sydney on Friday night.
“I think things will just depend on how the boys pull up from Origin, what team takes the field, but we’ve been preparing all week as if Jamie will be playing so you never know,” said Wallace, who will make his 200th NRL appearance in the match.

Its from Wallace's mouth but it could happen.
