Have another run through last night's side:
1. Matt MOYLAN (c) Played SOO,slightly fatigued.
2. Josh MANSOUR same as Moylan but played outstandingly.Needs a week off after SO is over.
3. Waqa BLAKE Sill a little raw.Needs to improve his ball security.
4. Tyrone PEACHEY Out of position, but trying his best.
5. Dallin WATENE-ZELEZNIAK A sound game with another try.
6. Bryce CARTWRIGHT Maestro Extraordinaire.
7. Nathan CLEARY Best player behind Mansour.
8. Leilani LATU Switches on and off throughout the game.Needs to be on all game.
9. Peter WALLACE.Played well, but is still learning the position.
10. Reagan CAMPBELL-GILLARD Usual strong running game.
11. Isaah YEO Ran strongly, but at times he seems to overexert himself.
12. Trent MERRIN 45 tackles and 4 miles of hit-ups.
13. Suaia MATAGI OK game although he needs to at times needs to be more purposeful.
14. Sitaleki AKAUOLA Great future but still greenish.
15. Jeremy LATIMORE came on and did his usual grind.
16. Chris GREVSMUHL scored a try,and was sound.
20. James FISHER-HARRIS Gotta learn to turn his hip towards the defense or he will end up getting buckled over more times than he needs to.
Overall,in comparison to the full strength run on side from the first few rounds, this is a team that is an abundance of inexperience.
A few more rounds, and we will be getting back more players. But the telling point about our side is twofold. The discipline, and our inability to score points when we really need to.
I have no doubt we will make the eight. But it will only be part of the learning curve for our team for the 1st week of the finals if we don't start attacking, and defending.
