Anyway, its a nice problem to have. Probably no coincidence that the entire backline has gotten more consistent since there's been genuine competition for spots.
I’m huge fan of PA, it’s not a knock on him, Milky is just combining well with Casey and making big plays.Great story and he might be the option going forward capwise but I think some are forgetting how strong Alamoti started the year and what he delivered in the finals, for a young kid new to a system to be shifted around like that consistently, even mid game is crazy impressive.

Since he was dropped! Hahaha that will never not be funny, almost as amusing as you suggesting that we drop the best back rower in the comp…. To teach him a lesson! Now I've been very fair to Tago and haven't given him shit in ages since he was dropped but that contract would be a great one to get off the books if Milky holds his form. Something the club should definitely consider. Perth would snap him up in a heartbeat.
More after this year than before. Before this year Roosters, Knights, Manly and Dolphins (albeit limited games) hasn’t; but now have.I wonder how many clubs haven't beaten us this decade.
You still don't believe Tago has shown noticeable improvement after being dropped to the bench? Come on manSince he was dropped! Hahaha that will never not be funny, almost as amusing as you suggesting that we drop the best back rower in the comp…. To teach him a lesson!
I don’t think his Benching had anything to do do with it at all. Lots of stuff changed around that time, including the way we are now attacking. You still don't believe Tago has shown noticeable improvement after being dropped to the bench? Come on man
Can and did make all difference when the issue is mentalI don’t think his Benching had anything to do do with it at all. Lots of stuff changed around that time, including the way we are now attacking.
He was on the bench for a half of football, that is not making a difference to any player.
So you think that Isaac Tago had some sort of “I can’t believe he benched me” moment and just decided that all of a sudden he’d better start playing better….. are you joking? If that was the case, he’d never be playing in that team again. Can and did make all difference when the issue is mental
agreed - Tago ran with some venom in every run he had against NZ, he actually looked like a high $$$ centreCan and did make all difference when the issue is mental
I honestly do think that. Anyways he's travelling pretty well now, still not anywhere near his ceiling but hopefully he continues to improve. So you think that Isaac Tago had some sort of “I can’t believe he benched me” moment and just decided that all of a sudden he’d better start playing better….. are you joking? Tago isn’t individually playing that much different, the team is just playing better.
Good call.Jenkins ain’t getting dropped surely?
I think PA on the bench as a utility
We have historically had a back rower double as a centre, what's the problem with the other way. I'm talking Tago here and plug Alamoti as a 14 into the centres. He's proven being able to play both sides, in last year's GF he went from left centre to right wing when Bizza went off, and we all saw the match winner.Alamoti is 100% in our top 4 outside backs but the bench thing is interesting because we have never really had a 14 with explosive athletic ability before.
