Isaac Luke and Sam Burgess destroyed us up the middle. Brutal stuff.

We nailed Souths around the ruck a few times with some good short balls but got caught up in the grind far too often and we simply couldn't slug it out with their superior pack.

But somehow it's all the winger's fault.

Does hurt, especially 5 top 17 forwards against one of the premiership top sides with every player available

Also our pack had a 18 and 20 year old starting and 19 year on the bench - 3 rookie forwards against one of the best packs in the game.

Through the pack did ok but our halves let us down - we had a few chances on their line but finished it off each time with a terrible kick.

Sandow just delivers utter rubbish week after week.

We will never make the Top 8 whilst he remains in the 7.

Come on Pou he butchered a try which changed the momentum of the game and they targeted him all night with kicks. The kid had a nightmare and should be dropped.

And that's it. The morale of the team just went downhill after Souths scored after our winger drops the ball. Then he lets another in.

Chew it any way you want. In the end, as a team the Eels aren't up to finals scratch yet. A lot of hard work and soul searching yet to be done. Hayne looked disinterested playing behind a 48-0 flogged team from last week. I can't blame him.

Bit tough on hayne, made 186 m more than any other eels players and only walker/burgess better them him. Didn't make any errors. He had a good game

We will need to improve a ton to win any of those 3

We played a very good souths side tonight. I think we forget that souths are a genuine contender this year as they were last year. We were close to them tonight but just not good enough ( missing a few players doesn't help) . Last year we weren't even on the game against them , we are improving. We play like we did tonight and get a few players back, we will go ok.

Umm no a 32-12 thrashing at home is equivalent to a 70-0 thrashnig had this been at ANZ,we are a disgrace.

Bullshit!!! Seriously look at the players we were missing, 5 of our top 17 forwards (mannah, mossop , peats, lussick and Manu) yet with with a starting pack including an 18 and 20 year old we matched them for 65mins.

Tell me if we had those above mentioned players and souths were missing George and Sam burgess, Luke , tyrell, how do you think we would go?

forwards went ok against the souths pack. We just need a smart skillful player in the halves. At the moment we are the Hodor of the NRL. Too many low percentage plays on the fifth tackle or panic attack early when we get a sniff.
