I like Toutai, but Sio is the best winger at the club, and if he's fit, he should be playing First Grade.

I also think he should have been signed ahead of Toutai - Vai is bigger and younger, but he's still very raw and his instincts are not up to par.

Tepai Moeroa...FMD what a talented kid.

I'm super disappointed we lost, because I felt we could have won - but at least the boys had a go tonight. That's all I can ask for now.

I see 2014 as a 12th position regular season position on the ladder..........at best. 2015 will be 8th...........at worst.

Also - we are missing Tim Mannah big time. His defense around the ruck and his ability to make tough metres is invaluable.

· Vai had a nightmare of a game and his butchered try basically changed the course of the game. Brad Arthur’s biggest coaching mistake is picking him over Sio at wing.

· I thought David Gower was brilliant at 13. As soon as Joseph Paulo came on he gave away some stupid penalties and we were fragile in the middle which Souths effectively exposed.

· It was a good idea to get rid of Tonga, he has zero potency these days and his step is starting to be as predictable as Neil Hunt’s.

· We are missing Hopoate badly and his class out wide. Morgan tries hard but just doesn’t cut it at this level.

· Norman and Sandow should be renamed Dumb and Dumber.

· Terepo is low on power and his hard running is for nothing as he doesn’t bend the line.

· Tepai Moeroa was awesome and shone like a beacon. I’ve mentioned him earlier but god I admire how David Gower plays. He is a must re-sign.

· What was Arthur thinking re: Ben Smith? f**k the nostalgia, f**k him off and just make him the Wenty Captain.

· I thought Moimoi was OK early but faded as his fitness levels seem to be down. I reckon Degois went much better and he was obviously instructed to run more from dummy half.

· Did I mention we have dumb halves? [FONT=&quot]

Well, Sandow will probably sit out a few matches, and that will be fun...

What the hell was he thinking with that shoulder charge?

As disappointing a season as it's been, though, there are some causes for optimism - Moeroa, Pauli Pauli, Junior, Edwarda and Ma'u will revamp this pack in time.

We definitely missing Peats and Mannah in the middle massively. Injuries are cruelling our ability to compete in the ruck but even at full strength I still have doubts about our second prop rotation next year. We might be forced to shift Junior to the bench simply because any combination of Mossop/Lussick/Allgood simply can not keep us in the grind.

We haven't improved at all this season,we couldn't even beat a depleted donkey Tigers team when we were in our very best form,we are at the same level as the past 3 seasons.

A fit mossop may surprise a few, if moeroa continues to improve maybe Pauli can play in the middle. Hope we re-sign gower.

I would keep Norman. He is playing shit atm, but i see intelligence and potential; where Sandow seems to have no smarts about him. He has skilll but shit for brains in composing a game plan.
