Don’t understand the criticism, anyone that has been involved in footy knows the winger is the most difficult position to cover. All
Penrith did was attack the left where we had Harper and Tualagi , an edge player who doesn’t normally play long minutes.

The effort was really amazing, and the thought that we would suffer if we had issues in the backs goes back to lack of recruitment in that area..

Fairly confident we would have one with a full complement of players, it was won attacking that one side. Fox just gave a constant blow job to Penrith without mentioning losing a winger to foul play which the video ref could have been more severe a(oh it was Atkins) .and same player placed on report for a trip.

Vonny, etc constant suck up, hardly acknowledging we played, sigh.

I might be in the minority here but I thought Harper hung tough and did well. Was on his own alot snuffing out plays.
I'd rather Harper than waqa as Harper is still having a go. Waqa well he's gone so who gives a f about him now.
I mentioned a few weeks ago after the last trial we need outside back ASAP as injuries suspensions will eff us.
Now next week the options are if we don't jag a winger or centre are dunster - no, Lumelume - no, Cini - no...
Talagi maybe a debut....get a Canberra outside back or feagai bros from St.merge if we can't get Lomax which is extremely unlikely....if JA was still here I bet he would be 5/8 and dylbro centre...go figure

The criticism is that it clearly wasn’t working yet he just persisted with the same thing until kelma got injured

Come on mate, that was embarrassing. Not his fault, but I’ve rarely seen someone so out of his depth.
I have, Morgan Harper. Who we signed lol. Defensive specialist according to Supercoach. We aren't ever going to go close with that turnip in charge.

Two key moments where Bryce not giving the ball back when tackled 1mtr out and giving away a penalty. And Dylan's rubbish kick where Pensini tackles Luai mid air.
Two huge chances to build pressure and we release it with stupidity.
Our mentality has to change. We have zero patience when fail in the red zone. We give away all our hard work with bone head plays.

Penrith aren't playing well. 65% completion. Yet dominated. We could of won tonight if played smarter.

I agree, Harper is never going to be a superstar and he wasn’t great tonight, but he absolutely had a dig. It’s actually silly to compare him to Waqa - that bloke looked like he’d given up any pretence of being a professional footballer a good 18 months before we were finally f**king rid of him.

If Penrith completed at their normal rate we get flogged defending like that.

As expected, childish comment
Sorry but Hands should've been put on to defend at 5/8 and dylbro at centre...we were getting carved up but no smarts from any of the coaching staff to arrest the issue...epic fail from the coach and his staff
