This needs to be our team, we can have Flanagan play the utiliy role whilst Fulton is at his prefered lock. Heighno gets a kick up the arse being benched, whilst Fifita is given a bit of a run in firsts to see how he measures up. I think in the near future both Fifita boys could be running out with us. It'll also be interesting to see how the Schirnack boys hold up as well.

simply can not have ryan at fullback he dogs it as much as moltzen in that position, we need to atleast give mitch brown a shot if we won't put tiquiri there!

Iam afraid in 2010 you cant afford to have a guy of Fitzy's size and speed on the wing, okay he tried hard against the chooks and was a lot better than some of his mates but at very very best he is the utility bench man. You have to have either size or speed and both are preferable.

Their defense yesterday was as bad as I have seen any team defend in the past few years, so any changes must be made with this in mind

That is pretty much what i would go with.

If we have anyone in the reserves who could take Fitzy's spot i would give them ago but at the moment i think Fitzy/Daniella/Brown all offer the same amount of nothing

What I saw.

1./Flannaga(headgear) had a top game. Punched above his weight. Should start next week.
2/ Fafita needs more game time. Was puffing out there after a little while. Give him more minutes so he can get fiitter. He is the future.
3/ Heighno....Just not effective any more. As soon as he signed his long contract, he has been soft.
3/ Moltzen needs to be at 7. Attacks the line more than Lui and is quicker. Needs to work on his short kicking game. Much more potent.

Very weak defensively. Ryan as fullback is very very wrong indeed.
4. Lawrence
5. Tuqiri
Tuqiri belongs on the other wing. When you have a team like ours at the moment with one strong centre and one strong winger, probably best to have them on different sides of the field. Besides, Lote has always played on the other wing.
6. Marshall
7. Moltzen
It's a given

8. Gibbs
9. Farah
10. Galloway
Can't argue with that either
11. Moors
No. I'd have Flangan or Fifita here before Moors.
12. Ellis
13. Fulton
Not bad. I'm curious about how Ellis would go at Lock, I reckon he'd present a few more opportunities for our backs if he's running a bit wider of the ruck.

14. Fifita
15. Payten

I think a good bench should have a strong attacking player primarily, a strong defensive player, a spare back rower and a utility back/hooker type player. The question is, do we have those sort of players at all?

- Ryan gets dropped as soon as Tuaki comes back (Tuqiri taking his wing)
- Heino should play less minutes and hopefully make more of an impact
- If any of the forwards have a bad game then give the Shirnaks, Fifitas or Dwyer a shot. Especially Cayless.
- Don't fecking take Gibbs and Galloway off the field at the same and replace them with Moors and Cayless.

Interesting. Moltzen almost looks like he's deliberately dogging it at fullback after seeing a far less talented and credentialed Lui annointed with the 7 - a position he (Moltzen) rightfully deserves. He looks deeply disillusioned at the moment - almost daring the club to drop him.

As to Lui, whatever Sheens, Farrah et al are seeing, I guess I'm not smart enough to get it. All I see is an agonisingly slow park footballer - average at best in every department (today recorded a stunning 17 ARM, 93 kick metres and 6 tackles as opposed to Mitchell Pearce: 114 ARM, 244 kick metres and 16 tackles). Hmm...

Gibbs and Fulton seemed to be badly missed and as to Cayless - is it too dumb a question to ask of a first grade NRL francise as to how is it possible to buy a player that is obviously shot? Is any due dilligence performed? Jason was once a fine and powerful player - it's almost embarrassing to see him reduced to this.

As the above poster said - different season, same old sh*t.

I can't believe you're claiming Moltzen is being sh*t on purpose. Don't you remember him bailing on that grubber last year?
