Alamoti is too good to leave out of this team - play him at Centre inside To'o

Leave Milky and Mclean together - they are getting better and more dangerous each week

Sorro off the Bench if available - Garns & Paps 2nd row - Garns goes to centre if one of the backs goes down and Sorro plays the remainder minutes on the edge.

dont like BS in 13 relieving Yeo - too slow & predictable in attack - Cole would be a better fit at 13 relieving Yeo (hell id take Laurie at 13 in attack)

I'd risk resting whoever needs it and look to play Nath and Yeo sparingly. Souths are in a massive hole, I cant see that changing much this week.

It would amuse me Ivan resting players and giving the rest of the comp the finger as well. Last a touch over a month ago and now cruising in the 8 and resting when needed ready to curb stomp all the pretenders in September.

To rest or not to rest...

Rabbitohs edge attack is still very good particularly on the left. They've scored 71% of their tries down the left side which is easily the highest in the comp by comparison.

So our right edge defence has Cleary on one leg and a new centre. Maybe no Martin as well? Bit of a mess. Big decisions to weigh up there.

Are we better off with Garner or Alamoti at centre against the Rabbitohs? Will Garner have the speed to slide across in time? Not sure.

I agree, let Bizza get fully fit, Alamoti is a very capable back up. If we go deep in finals we will need Bizza fit coming up with 250m

Edit: Forgot about Tagos suspension, worst timing, he is on his best run of form since mid 2023.
But Garner does well too and is fit, sorro is back too I think

Very interesting decisions made.

They've got with extra speed out wide with Alamoti. To'o is back in. Cleary and Yeo both out.

Resting in batches. Makes this week's game a lot tougher to win.

Wasn't expecting that. Resting Cleary and Yeo together is an interesting call.

As long as the defence is on point we could throw Laurie on with Blaize in the halves if we need to score a try in the final 10 to go up 4 -0

I have no issue with resting some players after a tough origin series. But to rest both captains in the same game is a bit strange.I hope our defence coach has come up with a way to stop south's left edge.Watch for the latrell long ball to Johnston on the wing.Souths have there own injury concerns and are missing a few players but there backline is still dangerous. We can't afford a loss here it's a must win game.
