We were our own worst enemy tonight.
Both wingers really let us down, DWZ needs a stint in In trust cup to find out if he still has it !

DZW is really disappointing. He makes a major error every game. I don't see what he brings to the team. He is slow, has bad hands, drops the ball regularly and doesn't break the line. Since his illness he is nothing like the player he was. I agree he should be dropped.

I think you're giving the Broncos too much credit..........They're hopelessly out of form.
Not really. We were fired up for the broncs game. Would have beaten most teams playing like that.
Today we went back to old habits, lacked cohesion and were rife with poor execution / errors. Imo we gave them the game

We were clearly playing a much tougher side tonight (than last week), in conditions to their liking, and it was a draw after 80. Our ball security was poor, especially in the first half and then in extra time, but the effort cannot be faulted. There are probably those who will though.

If we must play Hardaker, put him on DWZ's wing and DWZ in the reggies. We've carried him long enough.

Both wingers really let us down

Mansour had a couple of fumbles, but he more than made up for it with his bullocking runs. He was our best player IMO.

Mansour was an absolute beast tonight. The final play was a shame but he was huge all night. Has gone to another level since Origin. He seems to have picked up some good vision and is starting to find holes.

I think we came up against a dialled in Warriors and Johnson and weren't good enough. Our defence is much improved the last few weeks but maybe too little too late.

Our last roll of the dice to get some momentum into the finals is Martin hitting the ground running next week.

Mansour made like two errors. the strip anda very hard kick to take. Other than that he ran for 268 metres, made 2 line breaks, broke 9 tackles and scored 2 tries. That mammoth effort is almost an expectation for Mansour this year. An absolute weapon he is. In terms of tonight's performance, we really gave ourselves little chance of winning in GP, didn't get an actual real chance. Warriors outplayed us for most of that game. Very proud that we hung on and didn't give up defensively, that try saver on Lolohea was a ripper. At home, we should get it done in a tight one against the Roosters.

Man if you are stating that Mansour let us down tonight you are seriously a bad judge!!
Well yeah runs hard but can find an error when the game is in the balance, have a bit of a think back to previous games he has played in.
I get nervous when he gets the ball that's all.

If Masour didn't play last night I think we get done by 12+. So frustrating. We had the change to just be a professional team and go and win it, but failed to do so. Oh well, season is still alive, lets just hope we put together 5 soild 80 min performances for the rest of the season.

In fairness though, that's probably the best the Warriors have played for a while, while we consistently shoot ourselves in the foot, and we still ended 16 all after 80. We created enough opportunity to win the game, while playing well below our best in offence, our attitude seems to be bang on which is 70% of the battle.

I think we have the makings of a serious side, I don't think it's all doom and gloom.

I thought our attitude to start the game was awful. I simply don't think Griffin can fire them up. Also I'd be making Merrin captain, which goes against my general rule of wanting a captain to always play for 80 but its just not working for Moylan

They should at least make merrin co captain, the captains curse has really hit Moylan, he doesn't need the extra stress.

The critical call in the game was the 'knock on' by Latu that gave the final possession to the Warriors. That was a terrible call.
The call on the Mansour no try was also wrong, especially considering the number of forward passes Isaac Luke throws!
The defence was much better, and the second half attack was passable. Need some luck to go our way.

Agree with Merrin as captain.

I realise I come across as a Griffin fan boy and you the opposite but I genuinely want to know how you come to this conclusion? I'm not having a crack, just want to know if I'm missing something...

No matter how bad our execution is, we've probably had one game all year where we haven't been competitive to the final whistle, which is extremely unusual for such a young side. Surely that proves he gets our team in the right mindset. He also seems to adjust attitude/tactics at half time if we're down, which IMO also gives merit to the fact he is a good man manager.

7 of our players V Warriors from last night's game are under 21.Missing both our starting centres, positionally, that's where we were picked off not only from last night, but all season.Whare and Hiku not missing all season would have had us firmly in the top 4.

We get into the 8,it will be a learning experience for the club, but not enough experience to match the much more established outfits.

But it'll be fun if we do.
