Patea is looking like a good option as the Spencer replacement. Still really young so very keen to see how he develops and if there is much of an engine there.

At full strength and with the form our blokes are in - our bench is scary good, perhaps apart from the 14.

Guess it becomes a worry with Ivan picking a 14 that will barely see game time.

If Sorro is 100% we should just rest whichever forward is in the most need of a break. I'd rest Bri and give Alamoti a game too. Fully fit we have a very good 19 man squad (though that includes Schneider which is cheating).

And if we get out to a big enough lead we should put Schneider in there like we didn't against the Tigers.

I love what he brings, don’t get me wrong, but he’s made as many rookie errors as he has good plays. Get those out of his system and he’ll be a beast.

Personally I’d prefer to run with Henry, but I agree that Patea is closing the gap quite quickly.

Probably fair. Henry has been very disappointing this year but he's still the safer pick I guess.

He has shifted or accelerated momentum a few times. Not exactly game breaking, but for his age and experience still impressive. I think it was the game he scored his first try, I recall feeling at the time it was what we needed to kick us along. I like Henry, but he doesn't bring that.

Going with either Luron or Henry isn't a bad option. Luron just adds something different where Henry is a bit more of the same. Not a terrible problem to have.

Luron has come into the game a number of times and provided that dominant run, 5-10 metres over the advantage line that the backs jump on the back of and within a couple tackles roll us into an attacking position. No one else in our pack can bring that more than once in a blue moon and it can change the game, it can immediately get you back in control, just like a 40/20 can. In saying that, Henry has been fantastic the last month.

Hate to be Ivan, really tough choice. His track record says he takes Henry & Sorro every day. Hopefully as others have said we take the opportunity to rotate guys for rests in the meantime.

If Sorensen and Papali'i are both fit and playing then you've got a bit more middle coverage. Makes Patea more viable. Ivan runs Schneider just to cover Cleary. I have a feeling he goes Henry just to have that insurance of extra minutes if required.

Also that kick from Patea on the 3rd tackle early in the second half. Its a one off thing from Patea and Henry hasn't been an angel discipline wise this year either. But that is probably a factor too. Ivan would want the safer option.

We aren't going to be crying whoever they pick.

Same if Alamoti comes in to the 17. Even Laurie. The Bathurst game feels like so long ago now. Don't have the same concerns around injuries and depth.
