We are talking finals rotation, there are no NSW Cup game time needed.

Until then. Senior guys will rotate in and out of the team, this will give the bench guys plenty of game time in either grade

I’m fast enough to know that Patea is not ready to play big minutes in the NRL.

if we are fully fit, I doubt very much he’s in the team, I think Ivan will pick players that can play long minutes, which is 100% the right call.

Schneider is a crap 9 and 6. I’ll barely consider giving him a pass as a 7.

No doubt. But we lack alternatives really. Cole maybe?

I think Schneider will end with a top 17 gig somewhere when the NRL expands to 19 teams.

Smith and Henry are a bit too similar. I know Lindsay has some ballplaying but we don't want to see much of it at prop.

I really thought Henry was going to be the pick of the 2 but it's not looking like going that way at this point. Patea is every chance to go past him next year that's for sure.

They have but it's not ideal to have two props so similar in body type and skill set. I'm talking once Leota goes. I think we might have to pick one of the two at some stage.

Neither are Payne Haas but we don’t have his equivalent.

if you choose to look for flaws you will find them, I don’t operate that way, just watch a game of footy, hopefully enjoy watching and come out the other end with two points.

The micro analysis from some on here who seem to think they are experts, far in advance of Ivan and his coaching team is mind boggling.

I think that there is a very real chance that Smith will play for Australia at the end of the year, particularly if the team continues to play the way we are.

He’s progressing very nicely.

It is out of frustration, the narrative is just so depressing overall I just feel less inclined to put forward an opinion which I know will be lost on glass half full brigade for which you are a cheerleader.

Instead of being actively involved in the threads around our NRL fortunes I attempted to provide information and views around our juniors reps and NSW Cup sides but I gave up in the end because it was obvious there was lack of interest. Many expressed views about this player or that player without obviously ever have watched them, or having watched a game not involving our NRL side.

It is rather astonishing that you question my opinions and occasion posts as someone who watches from the comfort of your lounge chair? My wife and I are fans who despite significant challenges still make the journey to Commbank to watch and support our team.

I think your arrogance is just astonishing it really it but it will not change, you will have same lounge chair at Wagga Wagga as you did on Smiths Beach.

Rugby League is a product best viewed and dissected on TV. I wish I lived in a place to get to more games but Sydney is a shithole so no thanks.
