Parra will never win a war of attrition against most teams, let alone the Dogs. They know how to grind out a game. Generally a pretty good effort though.

We are just rubbish from set situations though, actually no, we are disgusting. We really need to have come up with something better than that bullshit from that 40/20.

Well we needed to win 3 more games before tonight to make the Top 8 and I don't think the equation has changed.

Personally I don't think we've been good enough to be in the Top 8 though. I think if the Dogs make the Top 8 they will get smashed into oblivion.

A 9/10th finish is probably were we are realistically at.

We made 5 mistakes tonight, 2 were if questionable strips.


Honestly I am so over this game, not one penalty the second half and not one 50/50 go our way.

I thought the played well tonight apart from those early easy points to the mongrel dogs. They didn't throw in the towel and seem to be a whisker away from winning those close games.

Remember we have 2 forwards under 19, a 20 year old not available - a very ordinary left side centre, and still we could have won. Peats and Ma'u would have made a massive difference

The club is on the verge of making a big run at the title, impressive young blokes with size coming through , we are a centre, and possibly a couple of experienced forwards away from taking it out
