I hate that utility seems to be about covering 9 over everything else.
Laurie covers the half’s better than Schneider, covers fullback and at a push the wing.
I would also rather see Alamoti on the bench than not in the squad, I’m fine with him at 14.
Fangs is right though, we all know Schneider will be there, he has sucked all year but Ivan won’t change it now.

We need 9 cover because Kenny's shoulder is stuffed.
I think Ivan wants Nathan insurance too.

I just watched Shane Flannogan's press conference. I used to think he was a good coach, but hearing him talk about recruitment next season has me thinking, if Ivan was the Dragons coach he would have them in the top 8 no problem with their junior nursery.

I give him a bit of slack after losing Hunt. I think Atkinson is a good signing and will be an improvement on their current halves. And maybe one extra pre-season will be enough to get some of their younger players on track.

Still expected better this year. Flanno will be under pressure in 2025.
