The broncos will throw everything at us in the first 30 then they die.Not sure it’s a fitness or a mind thing but when they fall apart second half is where they leak point
Respect them and we win.Dont be like parra who thought they just had to turn up

Seems on a par with Jack Wighton, and similar outcome as well. No-one mentioned Jack's matter before the game last weekend.

Putting young blokes with issues in prison never helps.
Jack drunkily threw some punches with the strength of a 5 year old at a group of guys. He didn't terrorize a family. It was two women a kid and when some dude went to help Lodge beat the shit out of him. The kid was still having nightmares as of 2 years ago.

I'm not here to defend Lodge, my point was that putting him in prison would have made things worse. As things stand he seems to have turned his life around in the years since.

He seems to be taking on a leadership role at the Broncos and his comments this week would have been directed at his team-mates rather than a slight on the Panthers players. He could have expressed himself better though and maybe our blokes will get motivation from it. They shouldn't need motivation with all the floggings we've had from this team.

That doesn’t even go close to describing what Jack did.

He needed to be dealt with harshly for his crime. His victims, especially, the child, deserves better.

Todd Greenberg?? That news is so old even the link doesn’t work.

Oh okay. I was highlighting his prior history. I am a domestic violence survivor, and trust me, it is a frightening situation to be in. I am sure you know that.

How do you know this?
His "fight" was on camera the footage of it has been released like over a year ago. Jack was staggering around like he could barely walk little alone throw a punch that could hurt someone. There was one real punch thrown in the whole "fight" and it landed on Jack's cheek.

only a few minutes of the footage was released, the rest was suppressed at the request of the victims.

Just for the record.
Broncos best wins against us.
Round 22 of the 2000 season 48-6.
Round 26 of the 2004 season 46-20.
Our record in Brisbane 29% 5 wins from 17 games.
50-18 in 2018. This is reputed to be the game that sealed Hook's fate, although he won the next two before they sacked him. Five of tomorrow's 17 played in that match, only 4 of the Broncos, 5 if Oates plays.
Also 54-12 in the Super League year.
