Some observations:
* Guymer is too slow to play on an edge...he'll get exposed too much there. Keep him to the middle
* Williams I was impressed with, but we need him in the middle starting
* Paulo and JOffa are poor starting middles. Paulo is maybe OK for 15 minutes either side of half time. We need better middles.
* Smith had a crack....it's a sad state of affairs that he's our best option at 9 though.
* Kelma is rubbish...utter trash rubbish
* We have no choice in my opinion than to play Lane and Cartwright on the edge.
* Volkman did nothing to get a contract upgrade to be able to play ahead of Hawkins if he's fit
* The Knights are kidding themselves.

I think the team threw this game. You could see the body language before the game. They knew what we all knew that they couldn't win with all the injuries and disruption, and the heat, and just went through the motions.

They'll get much better

BA side conceded 56 in his 2nd game in charge and he got 11 years.

Ryles beat that by 1 week.

His a smart cookie he knows what he is doing.

Yes it's bloody disappointing...but Depends on the situation....

For example we are debuting Smith at hooker, who is going to make mistakes....and we have a rookie at fullback. But then Moses is out. So suddenly we have to pair 2 rookies in the spine with another rookie in Volkman....it's going to have an affect on our attack.

We recruit Williams, to help fix our middle defence...but then Lane, Matterson are out, so we have to weaken a position (middle) to cover our edge....,in addition we are trying to blood some young forwards...

Add to Simonson/JAC being out...it all adds up....

There's no room for logic on here, merkin.

The problem today was that there just wasn’t any evident style. Hopefully that’ll change with more first choice players coming back etc, but it’s hard to pinpoint any particular style or gameplan today (which is entirely unsurprising when you get blown off the part so early, too).

Whatever style or system we had went out the window when Moses was ruled out who controls everything.

Ryles hasn't been here long enough to impact enough change unfortunately.

Took Ciraldo 2 x off-seasons to turn the Dogs around.

I still expect better effort, attitude and attention to detail. It was like once Melbourne scored bad habits from the previous regime just came flowing back into there games.
