The way they prepare, train, coach, manage and structure themselves is atrocious.

Good players cost more than average ones for a reason. Otherwise clubs could save a bunch of money and just coach the shit ones to be great.

We have a large fanbase everywhere. Must have been the glory years of 80s that got the bandwagon going and then my generation got brainwashed to follow.

Most Brisbane games involving Parra have a large contingent with Parra jerseys.

Sometimes I wonder what is the attraction of following this club we have had 1 generation of success in nearly 80 years compared to a shithole club who play on shithole of a ground with stuff all fans in Manly but they have won premierships every decade since the 1970s.

Why do they deserve success on average every 10-15 years compared to us.

I turn 30 years old next month and still yet to see a premiership ffs.

The way things are tracking I'll probably see Albo's PNG side win a comp before us.

Sharon Woods played more for NSW then Paulo and about 16 tests for Australia there isn't a bigger fraud then Sharon when it came to picking up rep jerseys in this era.

Paulo was definitely elite enough to be picked between 2020 and 2022.

Since then though he has fallen off a cliff.

Best now is to go into damage control and have a fire sale.

Now is the time to blow it up as a side might be willing to take more of a contract on knowing they'll get them for a 1/3rd of price for this season.

I'd keep Matterson and RCG. Lane,Sivo and Jnr we need to move on.

Jnr will be on id imagine 750k min for the next 2 seasons. I dont see anyone offering more then 450k-500k. We'd still be probably 300k out of pocket a season. But a side might pay 1.2 if got him for this season also if able to front load him.
I'd take a 200k a season loss.


Sivo reported to be on 500k. At best 300k so a 200k loss a season. But as above it might mean we can limit that to 100-120k a season if throw this year in for free.


Lane - I'd imagine 450-500k. I think someone would take a punt on him around 350k. Throw this season in and we might walk away with him costing us bugger all.


The season is a write off. Best now is trying to reshape the squad and try and offload guys. Our best solution to this mess is to cop it on the chin this year and only be 300-350k paid elsewhere to players not at the club.

Keeping them means we have 1.7 -1.8 mill tied up.
