Games are always close at the start and he still kicks those when he’s on.

My point wasn't when he was missing them.

Just that in the games that have been tight this year is he has missed multiple or crucial kicks.

We could have traded 2 kicks he got against Newcastle when it meant nothing and give them to the GC game.

Plenty of teams have played their grand final against us this year. Canberra are off this week, Gold Coast have lost two straight since firing up against Parra, the Broncos are 1 from 4 since beating us in Darwin, the Chooks are 2 from 7 since they beat us. Manly are 2 from 7 plus a draw.

You can't be up every week, but your opponents might be.

Or they aren't that good. A lot of sides are hot and cold but that's also got a lot to do with the opposition. People can argue Souths where not up for it. I call bullshit. They where outplayed.
If we play at that level all year we won't lose many. The issue is consistency. Even Manly are capable on their day of beating anyone.
