It might not have slipped under the radar. What they did was legal, so unless there are some minutes of a Board meeting saying "Gus is coming, f**k DWZ off to NZ" then there's not much they can do.

I thought the dodgy sounding part was Gus using his old club to get rid of deadwood for his new club. He had to already be in negotiations with the bulldogs about taking the GM position when that deal was made.
However like you said if all parties agreed then nothing can be done about it, and if Gus was only junior development at Warriors, then he should not have had input into the deal

AGREE. Canberra look like a much better side with Fogarty.
In 13 games they have played PENRITH,PARRA,STORM,ROOSTER, COWBOYS X 2, SHARKS X 2,MANLY,souths ( With turbo)
that is 10 very tough games of the 13. bar manly all are in the top 8. With turbo Manly are a top 8 side.
In their last 11 games they only play two top 8 teams ( current) I think they may come home very well

Yeah I went through NRL’s ladder predictor and I have Canberra sneaking in 8th (if they get Boncos this week, they’re almost certainties) with Rorters (especially if we get over top of them) dropping out.

We have 2 afternoon games left, both Dogs games (not a massive issue but still be nice to have some sunshine at games) but we’ve got two 5 day turnarounds and both lead into important games (Rorter and Boncos). Both of those short turnarounds are first legged by those Dogs games so theoretically easier games but that just makes them more dangerous.

We just need to beat Dogs in both games. Don’t care if it’s by 1 or 50. Just need to get the 2 comp points and then move onto the following games
