There is simply no excuse for today's performance and I seriously do not want to listen to BA's bullshit press conference.
If we were a smart club, we would act immediately because our coach will never win us a premiership.
Why on earth we gave him another 2 years I'll never know.
Yes, the players need to take some blame as well but today's loss was all about our mentality approaching the game, and that is the coaches job. In this respect, he fails time after time.
I've had enough of watching these insipid performances against the shite teams.
Us premiership contenders? Lol. Not under Arthur's watch.
Too true, Suity. You didn't miss much of the presser if you didn't watch it. Just more of the same dribble, especially from Gutho. "We didn't turn up" is not something Eels supporters want to hear.

Nah. Coaches would have a huge say on who they want to keep and who they feel isn't that important.
The point is they're not going to get everyone they want and they're not going to be able to sign or re-sign players they want at a price that represents value. It's not like picking a rep team, where NSW and Qld aren't competing for the same players. Demand from other clubs drives prices up. This is why no coach has the team he really wants.

“Our defensive structures are fine and we can score points whenever we need too”

Our fearless leader said that this year, what a laugh Bea should be stand up.
Also, the mental aspect of our team is that when things go against them they don't have an answer or the ability to turn things around. Shot ducks after the second try then proceeded to fumble and crumble their way into situations like today's effort.

See watching our games on delay and fast forwarding them when you notice the rot setting in isn't as silly as one would think, is it?

It saves me a hell of a lot of angst. I don't need to watch our team play as poorly as the do when they do. It is very predictable where they are failing. simply rinse and repeat. So I just watch games we play to our strengths and win. Not many pickings this season though I'm afraid.

I almost decided to go out there today, seeing it was such a nice day and all and that it was the wooden spooners we were playing and so it should be an easy win and shellacking for us over the Dogs and fun to watch as an Eels supporter.

But then I thought about it a little deeper and thought, what the hell am I thinking? This is the Brad Arthur led Parramatta 'Gimcrack' Eels here, we make every team look like the Panthers and Storm. We turn busted's into warriors and champions. So that little voice inside my head said, stay home son and save yourself some money, heartache and losers misery that so often accompanies my thoughts on the journey home after they put in a way to often pathetic performance once again.

The boys didn't disappoint.

As soon as someone meets us chasing the collision the team pisses themselves, mentally weak, lazy and as dumb as a box of hammers.

We look so poorly coached it's not funny, how can we see it but not the clowns who run the club???

IMO we pretty much have the team that we want. I don't think there's too many in our 17 that supporters aren't happy with. There is something wrong somewhere when we get done by the bottom two teams yet beat the top two teams within a regular season. There will probably be more examples of both before the season is done. Right now, I'm blaming the coaching team for our Jekyll and Hyde performances and I want to see more Jekkyll and no more Hyde.
