I was hoping there was some kind of plan. You know, not playing your attacking cards then playing those cards in the big games.

...but that was wishful thinking. I think what you see is what you get. In reality we are a fringe top 8 side who have overachieved.

Glass half full: if you’d told me at the start of the year we’d be third with only three losses at this time of year I would’ve been very happy. I just no longer think we have the ability to win the comp.

We don’t even deserve to be spoken in the same breath as the top teams. We’re so far off the pace it’s not funny. Playing out of bankwest and staying in Sydney has helped us overachieve. BA is just another Matt Elliot.

Weird use of the Bench Stone got bugger all game time especially in the wet...

We have a pretty decent 15, outside of that our squad drops away pretty quickly.

Kaufusi might be a good player one day, but he's a fringe player who offers only enough for a few minutes of incidental effort. Stone is the same and not really going to offer alot that is going to turn a game.

No, I said it was a good point made by the Fox team. Actually it was made by Ennis and he said he was part of the game at shark park a few years ago when the conditions were even worse. And he said after that game it took them a bit of time to get over it and they were stuffed that week.

If wanted a video of a team that thought that they had it in the bag and just had to roll the arm over, that was it. Sad that it came to this but we've been klunky for weeks. Hopefully that is rock bottom, but next week is looking unlikely.

Didn’t seem to affect Gutho or Nrown much.

The strip ruling by video ref on Drown was wrong. Reed’s try should have been awarded it does end up on the line but the ball touches green before it touches the line. With those two decisions not being overturned we may have won but we didn’t deserve to.
Drown threw at least two cutout passes to Sivo that if he went through the hands we likely score, one of them definite. Gutho did the same thing once. A couple of early touches by matto had me believing he was going to give them trouble all night but then Moses spent most of his time going sideways.
I seen other opportunities where the pass went to the wrong player, not enough eyes up footy in my opinion.
Oh and I would say I’m sick of the rain but I’m not sure if it’s keeping the opposition in the game or us.
Sivo is pushing his luck in staying in the team but if it’s wet weather footy he should be an automatic omission regardless.

Kaufusi is the least of our problems. You should look at other bench players. He is a solid middle and will only get better. Sivo is a big problem, as is Moses at the moment. Blake played pretty well tonight but he’s rocks and diamonds and Fergo has too many brain farts. Reed is a good young hooker but he also takes the wrong option a few too many times at the moment.

We need a full time attacking coach at the moment. Mary is not that guy. Joey is that guy but COVID has f**ked any benefit we were getting from him. It’s concerning that we don’t seem to have any other coaching staff with an ounce of attacking ability.
