Is it a coincidence that players are regressing under Arthur's coaching?

He’s always used the bench poorly, his overuse of Paulo and RCG this year could come back and bite us in the long run. Surely Stone and Kaufusi deserved a few more mins???

No kahunas to give the younger players extra game time.
Just like a lot of players have made debuts because of injury not because he has wielded the axe..

I was out and didn't watch the game but just relied upon texts from my son. I have just seen the highlights. Sivo has not been the same since he got tackled by that player when he was injured. He is a dumb player and turns like a bus and always comes off the line like an idiot in defence.

Every team is now targeting him and he has no urgency in his play especially under the high ball.

He needs to be dropped and I couldn't give a f**k who they put there as I'm sure they'd do a better job. Taka should get it.

Ferguson has also regressed badly this season and is not the player he was.

And f**k this rain shits me.

Taka has to be in the 17...
Can basically play any position in the team.
So if Sivo is having a shocker on you go Taka.
Taka can play wing, centre, 5/8, backrow..
He does have a bit of x factor about him.
Not saying starter but on the bench as insurance

It was like that in 2018, it wasn’t till we were staring down the barrel of the spoon and with a massive injury till he gave some young blokes a go. I don’t think Sivo has been right since the Manly game and Fergo whole still doing the tough stuff isn’t playing like he was last year. Thing is Stone and Kaufusi have looked good in limited mins this year in most of the games they have played.

We aren’t a threat thru our dummy half. In fact the only time we look a little good is when Gutho runs from there. We need an attacking 9.

Rheed was an attacking 9 in the juniors. Is he just too tired from all the work or is he coached to just shovel the ball out and lead the defensive line???

Our attack is so slow as soon as we get in the 20. You watch the good teams and they attack at speed and we just turn the ball back inside hoping for the best.

I’d like to see Moses play the traditional half back role and pop up both sides, i hate this split halves shit!!!!

We played down to the opposition and got the result we deserved.

Next week should be awesome! Glad i get to go to the game again and sit through more garbage........

Taka has to be in the 17...
Can basically play any position in the team.
So if Sivo is having a shocker on you go Taka.
Taka can play wing, centre, 5/8, backrow..

He's definitely going to provide more than Stone or Kaufusi if needed. I'd feel pretty comfortable if Taka had to suddenly play 80 mins. If Kaufusi or Stone need play more than 30 minutes I wouldn't have alot of confidence in the result. One of them, probably Kaufusi, is fine for 10-15 mins at the 17th player.

Moses and Dylan should be putting backrowers and centre through holes..
Adam Clune made us look dumb as dogshit with that ripper ball to Jacob Host...yep those 2 play for the saints..

We just don’t seem to have the killer instinct, we drift in and out of games and never keep the foot on the throat when we are on top. It is the sign of a mentally weak team. Don’t worry though BA has 3 more years to figure it out.

On Ferguson - I reckon it's a case of him, and Gutherson, being the ones to return the ball back with gusto that has seen his form "dip" (I still think Ferguson is playing well).

Sivo is too lackadaisical in his approach to returning kicks, and doesn't work hard enough, imo.

I mean this criticism in a constructive manner, and not a knock on Sivo - but whereas Fergusojngoes looking to make hard runs, Sivo seems to wait for the "right circumstances" before lining up a big run; as a result, I reckon that Ferguson - being a senior player - tries to work extra hard, and pick up some of the slack that Sivo is leaving behind.

I think the best medicine for Sivo is to roll up his sleeves, get stuck in, and do the hard yards - his game will progress from there.

Well this is where the wheels fall off - definitely was inevitable after the last few weeks. Next week will be the true reckoning of whether our season is effectively over or not (I reckon it is. My read is we’ll limp into the finals and fall out without a win).

Might be time to recall George Jennings, id almost prefer him on the wing the Sivo at the moment.

Agreed. Moses has a lot to offer when he’s firing, but I think long term, Dylbro needs to be the dominant half if we preserve with the pairing.

Just watched the presser. BA said we didn’t deserve to win, however stopped short of giving them a rocket. There will always be opinions on whether you should be a MGuire style or Bennett style coach, but geez I wish BA fires up and called some of the players for the crap they dished up

The only thing I can say is that blasting the players in public - while it does work occasionally, and fans love to see it - is not usually the best way to go about earning respect.

Our issue is we go sideways when close to the line fo no reason bar tackle count. Unless its a hard run and quick play the ball no point going wide. It just slows it all down and then gets tuck out wide and have to was your next tackle just getting g closer to the middle.

Anyhows only way we win a GF with this side is bash the he'll out of them. It isn't a style you can play in NRL week in and week out. We need to finish 4 and give younger guys as much time as can.
Come finals play highest intensity just bashing other side in defenseis how we win. Only have to do it for 3 games if finish top 4! Its sustainable.
