And again....where was I having a cry about words on an internet forum?

If I was 'having a cry' or a 'sulk' as others have suggested, it was related to our lack of quality in the middle and our season was also over and it was time to look at next season, which I'm doing.

I wonder if the NRL would consider a captains call, one in each half for penalties ?

similar to what they do in cricket

would stop the game a bit but gets rid of the wrong calls a few times a game

I cannot believe all the whinging you flogs are doing about the ref's. Both sides got just as many terrible calls against them. Mannah's forward pass for a try, MacDonald supposedly taking out French etc

The game was lost when Smith went for the 40/20. I think every Parra players head went down when he shanked that.

We are last and are meant to lose, it's as simple as that. The top sides always get the rub of the green. They are expected to win the refs referee accordingly.

Saints diffused that bomb and should have had possession but Eels got the penalty and Hayne scores a converted try one minute later.

The swings and roundabouts are there.

I think Mennings career is close to over. He has completely lost it this year. He is trying hard but he just doesn’t have it any more.

Watch the saints first half try. He gets beaten by Lafai and then totally gives up. If he ran back he may have stopped that try. But he didn’t seem to give a f**k tbh.

And why the Duke pissed him off years ago ...We gave him his cream.

Not hard to find a bunch of positives out of last nights game. Marata was wonderful on the edge. Hayne didn’t see the ball much but his touches were quaility and he was tough in defence. Norman played well. Moses was in everything. Tim was great. Peni didn’t drop the ball.

We played the team coming first away from home in a game that means nothing to us. I enjoyed the effort and my fave game of season so far. Showed some guts.

Saints defense was brutal at times. They beat us on the bell. It happens
