If we make finals every year I am fairly happy for most the season bar the final series 6/7 months is fine.

I reckon we still can win the comp, we've been really flat the last few weeks, but I think that's a symptom of a season with no breaks, and the way we have been putting in in defence all season, that'd be pretty taxing.

This 10 day turn around could well be what we need to freshen up, and get back to playing the game we were playing at the beginning of the season

I know I've been quite negative since Thursday - questioning our coaching staff, etc - but all in all, sitting in third spot isn't too shabby.

I do think Arthur needs to address some issues - I don’t think anyone feels Thursday's result was acceptable -, but maybe I should just accept he is our coach for two more years, and have some faith that he knows what he's doing.

A healthy dose of cynicism is fine. You are too smart to let it become toxic.

I think every club is less than evens to win the comp. But I think we're a chance. How much? At a wild guess I'd say 10%

I reckon the Storm and Roosters are each about 20% depending on how serious their existing injuries are. The Panthers might be a 20% chance too. Souths and Canberra are both about as much chance as we are. All missing a key spine player for the finals.

It's exciting looking forward to the next game. Until you're knocked out of the finals (along with six other teams) you're always a chance.
