Canberra defense is good. The way players slide and hold off when opposition is on a backline spread is great. We could learn heaps from them.

Canberra ain't going that great this season but that type of defence is quite simple.

There was 3 or 4 times I thought Storm score for sure. They had them stretched. The centre and winger backed off then rushed up and the space closed.
Our edges in those situations seem chaotic and open up like Sydney heads.

We are a better side. Our defense in the middle is heaps tighter. And we have a safer side in general.
But close to the line Canberras defense has impressed me.

Gutho has his critics but I suppose we get enough value out of him being on the park most weeks.

Probably helps he isnt an explosive athlete like Tom Turbo, Ponga, Latrell Mitchell & Papenhuyzenen who find themselves on the sideline very regularly.
