He should of stayed in England, the old merkin is senile. He was sacked over a decade ago for not having a clue. His record after leaving Canberra and half a season at the Tigers in 2005 is Steve Kearneyish. The idea to bring him back as coach is one or the more hair brained and embarrassing schemes i've ever seen in the game of RL.

I actually disagree to a large extent. What Sheens is very good at, he is still very good at, and that is developing young players. I dont mean what most mean about developing young players which is simply finding them young, and pushing them through the lower grades. Sheens is good at actually getting a young player and making them into a good player. That was what got us 2005.

Not a single player (other than maybe Luciano leilua) improved under Madge, but since Sheens has taken over, there are a list of young players who looked like reserve graders under Madge, now look like good first grade players, including Starford To'a, Junior Tupou, Fonua Pole, even Stef has improved. Even when we were 0-8 early this season, our defence was good, our pack good and we were slightly better than the week before. Then we had a month with three wins and club admi thought everything was fixed and thought its OK to turn the club on its head and shake everything out.

The position the Tigers are in isnt able to be fixed quickly overnight with a new coach, it is going to take years of putting the right things in place to make it come good. IMO Sheens plan was actually working up until about a month ago when the morons running our club pulled the rug out.

Obviously not a reader...

Yeah I did read it but I also think giving any praise to anyone improving at all from Sheen's is laughable. He hasn't improved any player. Bula if he stays in this team will be spat out and either at a better club in a season or gone from the game.

St George: “ we are the shitest team in the NRL “
Tigers: “f**k you merkins, we are”
Bulldogs: “hold on fellas, we have only got Newy. We will show you shit”
Despite their 0-74 point loss, there are still 4 teams with worse defence than the Tigers this year, although admittedly each of those have played one more game.

Incorrect. Tigers signed Musgrove after he was charged with DV, plead not guilty, was found not guilty. See how that works?

Kenny Edwards plead guilty to DV, was convicted of DV and then after being convicted of DV was selected and played in another 27 games for Parramatta. Parramatta sacked him after running away from a roadside police check. DV is ok, running from a breathalyser is not OK at Parra. You really want to talk about this?

Of course Parramatta signed A'uva after a DV conviction.

IMO kulcha is at a minimum differentiating between your common garden variety RL dickhead and domestic violence or men who abuse women.

That point is 100% correct and is unarguable.

DaveMc, unless you are 12yo, this isnt a "my club is better than yours and your clubs shit" discussion (from my POV). Of course my club are crap at the moment and Im not sure how they climb out, and your club is flying pretty good at the moment, last years GF and looking good for the 8. Im not throwing the kulcha thing around to tear down Parra to make me feel better about the Tiges. My original posting about "kulcha" was in the discussion about Dylan Brown and it was a genuine point tbh. I brought it up when someone was suggesting that Parra would sack him. If any club greenlights a career after admitted DV against women, they are not going to sack a very good 5/8 for what he has done and like it or not, that is the standard the club has set.

I'll help you out here to draw a line under the discussion. Tigers are shit. Better?
DV has nothing to do with club culture. It is a category of crime outside of a rugby league club, since your team mates aren't members of your family. But when you're selecting blokes who need a high level of aggression and toughness, you're obviously going to get a significant proportion who use intimidation to resolve conflict in the home and in public. It doesn't impact the work place unless the sponsors find out, so it's not really a cultural issue. Workplace culture is about what you do in the workplace.

Who has improved you had the second rower of the year join you and gone backwards so we probably should add that to Sheen's inability to coach

I literally just gave a list of players who have improved under Sheens coaching, in the post that you responded to. A month ago, Parra fans in this forum were suggesting Parra should sign tupou & To'a because....you know.....they had improved.

I thought that was a joke list you think Sheen's improved any of them 😂
