I actually disagree to a large extent. What Sheens is very good at, he is still very good at, and that is developing young players. I dont mean what most mean about developing young players which is simply finding them young, and pushing them through the lower grades. Sheens is good at actually getting a young player and making them into a good player. That was what got us 2005.

Not a single player (other than maybe Luciano leilua) improved under Madge, but since Sheens has taken over, there are a list of young players who looked like reserve graders under Madge, now look like good first grade players, including Starford To'a, Junior Tupou, Fonua Pole, even Stef has improved. Even when we were 0-8 early this season, our defence was good, our pack good and we were slightly better than the week before. Then we had a month with three wins and club admi thought everything was fixed and thought its OK to turn the club on its head and shake everything out.

The position the Tigers are in isnt able to be fixed quickly overnight with a new coach, it is going to take years of putting the right things in place to make it come good. IMO Sheens plan was actually working up until about a month ago when the morons running our club pulled the rug out.
I think the Tigers’ problem at the moment is lack of onfield leadership. Selecting Koroisau as captain is proof of that. It is that time of year when teams with weak leadership and a reason to give up do give up.

At least Tigers had a player binned for 10mins... not sure what the Bulldogs excuse for this rout will be.

What I ahvent seen anyone acknowledge is the Tigers have their entire first round first choice spine out with long term injuries....Staines, Adam Doueihi, Luke Brooks and Api Koriasau all out. Take guffo, DBrown,Moses and hodgson out and Im sure Parra would improve as well (hodgson proabbly true).

Enjoying the Dogs, once pending QLD SOO hooker and their future superstar coach being mauled at their own ground.
I remember when Gould had a whinge about shit clubs like Parra distorting the market by overpaying for players. At the time I was all ‘Have a sook, merkin’ but after losing Mahoney and Papali’i I realise he was right.

Tigers biggest problem is having their entire first round first choice spine out with long term injuries. Add to that the stupidity of management pushing Joffa out and disrupting the coaching staff and you pretty much have where we are at the moment.

On field leadership is actually the strongest we have had for years with Api, Klemmer etc leading well.

A month ago we were going well. This team with good halves, challenges for the 8. Injuries and managment stupidity are responsibel for this last month of crap.

I've said I rate Douehi, and also Api - a player whose calibre Tigers badly needed to buy. Though I'd imagine Laurie was really first choice in the spine ahead of Staines if we're honest...

And yes Brooks seems to have been badly treated in the past month or so, which is bound to have a flow on effect through the club, whether he's present or absent.

Well, Bula’s an upgrade on Staines, so let’s call that one of four of your spine being the best in their position last night. That was our exact situation against Manly when we won by 30 with a spine of Gutho, Asi, Matterson and Hands.

What a scoreline to wake up too.

Suck shit Reed

Suck shit Gus

Suck shit Dogs fans including the wanker of a boss at my old job who is a dogs fan and likes to show off when he has the corporate tickets that he is best mates with Baa Baa Lamb.

The great thing about this also is its going to take longer for Ciraldo and Gus to turn this losing culture ingrained at Belmore around.

Pappalli and Mahoney a distant memory.
The reality is that at least 85% of players in the NRL would be classified as great players in good teams, and average players in shit teams.

It's those 10-15% of players that make everyone else look good.
