They'd have to be concerned how dominant they where. Bar KE poor display its 2 tries. And one off a bomb. The other doesn't happen if game wasn't over.
Exactly. They scored in the 39th minute, the 79th minute and from a kick. The mistakes they made when attacking our line were FORCED errors, not unforced errors. Our defense forced a team that has ridden over every team in the comp (except us) to make those mistakes. They were at full-strength, had all the ball, all the field position and yet couldn't dominate like every other game they have played this year.
If I was Ivan, I would be getting concerned about meeting Roosters and Storm who have an attack that shits on our currently non-existent one.

Do you really think that squad would worry the Roosters or Storm in the Finals though?

There is still too many deficiencies all over the squad to be a serious challenger.

Drown and Mahoney are at least 50 games away from where we need them to be for us to become a contender.

Lane isn't really a good enough starting edge forward in a Premiership contender that has too many other deficiencies.

Outside of Niukore, the 3 other players we can put on a bench from week to week don't provide enough off the bench to make enough of a positive difference during a game, they just fill a hole whilst out main guys have a rest.

The attack coach certainly doesn't help to alleviate any of these deficiencies though.
Who knows, a full strength Roosters side is probably just too good.

I do know this side is going nowhere with the bloke in charge. He has such little respect for the dummy half posistion he is happy to play a back tower and fullback there. It’s embarrassing and not good enough. 7 years in charge and the players still look like strangers in attack. We were one of the few sides that had no changes in the spine this year and our attack is absolutely insipid.

Panthers are first, on paper I’d argue our side is as good if it better. The one major difference is the coaching, we look like a pub football side in attack with the shape of an u10’s side.

But it’s an easy fix according to the bald muppet.
Panthers are being better coached than Parra, but they will fall short because they don't have the experience of the Storm or the Roosters.

Parramatta will fall short because of both the squad and the coaching.

What’s been the difference from last year for the Riff, they employed a specialist attack coach in Barrett and looks like they were able to select young played to suit the style he wanted. Last year they Bashed it up the middle and kicked on the 5th, sounds familiar doesn’t it.

BA is a good man manager and popular and seems to be able to identify recruits ,We have the same need that Riff overcame this year, time for a change at that level without doubt.

I wouldn't pick us to best any of the current sides in top 8 tbh. And that includes Knights and Sharks. Id say Souths and Canberra are above us by enough.
It would be a coin toss against Knights and Sharks. And an upset if beat Canberra or Souths. They'd start as favourites for sure.

I'm not sure the Knights and Sharks are going that great either. I certainly wouldn't be filled with confidence though.

yet people say we can’t use injuries as an excuse tonight hahaha
Jeez people like to dribble to suit their agendas on here

It is more Penrith won every single aspect of the game. Like not one area where we as good.
I didn't think we ever looked in the game. It reminded me of our semi against Storm last season.
We never looked capable of scoring, making a break or even getting over halfway. They did everything faster and harder. We didn't even bother with a short drop out with 5 to go.

I also think the Riff are at least a year away. But we are miles away with dumbo .

We have honestly gone backwards as a team since last year. Covid has flattered this side, we got off to a flyer since the break through superior fitness and the new rules but now all sides are level with fitness we look way off the pace. I can’t wait to see what excuses we will have to hear for Bea Arthur next.

The Panthers are no concern for either of those sides. They're not far from a loss either. Not sure what that says about us though.

Agree. I think Storm vs Rooster will be GF unless they knock each other out.
Had Latrel stayed fit South where looking good.

I'd say we are just as good as last year. Definitely not worse.

It doesn't matter when a team scored a try or if it was from a kick. You sound like Paul McGregor. They are worth the same at any minute of the match, no matter how they are scored. We however, have now gone tryless in 2 of our last 3 games.

He’s just waiting for those new moves from BA.
I agree with him I can’t wait when we unleash them the comp won’t know what hit them.
