Papali passes too early too often. Needs to learn to create space for his outside players. We are still guilty of going wide without anyone running good inside lines. Easy to pick off.

This thread is a tough read tonight. Maybe im too glass half full and its tough to lose in a game where we had a chance to win, but im not slitting my wrists

Neither am I but we need to acknowledge who is costing us and why we are losing some of these close ones...its not the effort its the execution for most parts.
Sign 4 or 5 more players and we will be ok

Junior and Dropgood need to be the next 2 to be tapped on the shoulder. Not up to it.

Jack Williams is not far off them. Soft drop ball then allows a front rower to stroll over the line seconds later from close range.

Frustrating night.
Individual errors costing us again. Maybe the style Ryles wants us to play doesn’t suit Hopgood. A worker in his spot is not what we are looking for. We need somebody who can show some skill with the ball too. It’s a good thing there is no trades in NRL because he lost all trade value this year.
Despite giving the ball up so easily so often I don’t think we were too far behind in the field position battle. That’s what kept us in it. We just lost the ball too often deep in their end.

I keep saying it but we are just lacking a little bit of class. A little bit of skill. A Kikau type changes us. A Tino type changes us. We are an unseasoned steak. Bland but well a cooked medium rare. A bit of salt and pepper changes the meal.

We are the best performed team, without winning, to be running 15th in my memory. Frustrating.

We've still got 4 more winnable games to go. We just lost by one try which was from a knock on to this year's probable GF winner.

The performance tonight was top flight. It bodes well for next year.

Remember: we have to compare and contrast ourselves with Ciraldo's first year at the Dogs. We're still tracking only one win shy.

I actually thought joash played alright. Wish he was a little stronger for post contact meters but bro is also like 166cm. Just a few poor reads offensively. He does love that good double fake pass to set up his pass on tackle 5.

His height should make him stamped to never play fullback. And he is even worse at 6.

Fair i think that was more on losing hughes and them with 7 errors.

They also had 40 tackle breaks...

Anyways i know im being a little negative but I just expect a little more from our guys but it's not all bad
