Yep !!

This year has been a success/improvement no matter what happens from here.

But what we do next year is more important, we need to keep building and play finals regularly then with some luck one year anything can happen (like sharks / cowboys)

However we havent been very successful having 2 good years in row, in 2001, 2005, 2007, 2009 and 2017 we have had a good year followed by a massive let down!!

Some of those years may have been let downs, but relatively speaking they weren’t all bad.
We still played Finals footy in 2002 and 2006 so not exactly the worst years we’ve ever had. It’s just that we went from such a high position to a lesser one.

It’s only after all this misery we’ve suffered over the last decade that I can look at those years and say that they were pretty good. Bit sad, I know.

We’re going to need more than a little luck if we are to make it through to a PF or GF. But hey, stranger things have happened. I’ll be cheering for us. I hope we can do it.

Well at the moment we are, and we will always take ‘in the moment’ rather than ‘in the future’.
