Rd23 2023: Non Parra games

Another team we softened up for their next weeks opposition...

Has a team won the following week after beating us.

I know that stat was going pretty well at start of year. Lost track since I have been away and losing again.

Watching Penrith it's very disappointing how far we have dropped off after last year's grand final..

You need to be a defensive side to win the competition but we have gotten worse..

Defence wasn't great last year.

We averaged 7th in the comp in D.

Our D was statistically better in 2020 & 2021.

We lost to them in round 19 then they beat the Sharks

Cooper Cronk is an annoying commentator. He is repetitive and his insights are stating the obvious crap.

I heard Cooper Cronk say at start of the year for Penrith to win 3 straight premierships they have to keep enough petrol in the tank and that means by not winning the Minor premiership.

His theory was if they push for the minor premiership they will probably fall short in finals.

I guess we will find out if Cooper's theory is spot on.

Could be ironic that Cleary doing a hammy after origin has helped Penrith more and f**ked us over.

We will travelling along nicely until origin disruption with Moses and Gutho.

All the momentum we had was lost the moment we sent out a half baked team against the warriors.

I think Paulo is a massive weak link in the middle and is only noticed more now because were struggling but has been for a while.

Penisini still has his issues I guess not having a stable wing partner hasn't helped.

Both sidew sliding in instead sliding out how many opposition wingers score against us. May as well lock it in before each game.

Daughter lives in Scarborough the pub you mentioned previously not to far from there?

Your advice would be appreciated. The venues on the beach are fine for the most part but just looking at somewhere different.

Just tell them "Piss this AFL shit off and get the real footy on."

There's actually no AFL on that day so you should have no issues getting Penrith-Manly on the big screen. Even on Fridays and Saturdays they'll usually have NRL on one of the screens.

I'm not. If Parra was playing I'd definitely go but I struggle to find time to watch non-Parra games on Kayo much less attend. If I watch other games it's usually in the background with the sound off while I work and argue with merkins on LU.
