Once Thurston and Cronk go who are the No 7's that better than Moses?

I'd put DCE, Maloney, Cleary, Johnson, Reynolds, Brooks and Hunt ahead of Moses but a couple of them by only the smallest margin. Thoughts?

Whats Cleary done?
Dce for me is the pick of bunch. But add Ash Taylor.

The annoying thing is the talent is there, he does things on the field some players could only dream off. He has a great highlights reel but we need a bloke willing to play tough and do whatever it takes to get us the win.

sometimes he seems more worried about adding to his highlights reel than his teams win column

Yes.

If it isn't a send off offence then I'm not too worried if it doesn't get put on report during the run of play. As long as it is dealt with afterwards.
If Hayne had to go off injured, then Parramatta would be down a Interchange thanks to a Dog act.
Any contact with the Head/Neck area like this should be on report.

Putting it on report wouldn’t change anything in terms of Hayne being injured and us losing an interchange. As long as it’s dealt with afterwards is all that matters. It makes no difference if it gets put on report. We still get the penalty during the game and the match review committee will still determine if he gets charged after the game - Being put on report means nothing really. You don’t get automatically charged just because you are put on report.

Add to that the same tackle earlier. No fluke. He is a confirmed arsehole of the highest order.

I’m confused how you can get sent off for a bad head high or for punching, yet this thug deliberately tries to injure the necks of players and nothing stronger than a penalty happens. The first incident goes unpunished.

No fit players left.

A player in the bin.

And we still did nothing with the ball.

I apologise if that's negative, but it's how I feel.

Moses is back to his usual self - over-playing his hand, garbage kicking, lazy defence...

The Storm are deserved Minor Premiers, but that was an abysmal display last night - for the first 10 minutes or so of the second half, Melbourne were practically gifting the game to us (dropping the ball in their own half, no for players left on the bench, Smith out, etc.), and we still did nothing.

Hugely disappointing performance.

Agreed mate, spot on. We got beat by 16 points against a depleted side, I thought our effort was great but we played dumb and showed how far off the pace we are to the top sides.

James Hooper, Ryan Girdler & Wendal Sailor.

Over to you to now tear them down.
LOL Hooper!! We had a massive dig Friday night, the effort was great but once again we let ourselves down through utter stupidity and a half not taking control of the team. To only score 1 try off a kick in that second half when they had no one on their bench, a player in the bin and their best player and captain gone says we did not play well at all. If those blokes were bagging the side you would be posting the link and pissing in your knickers.

Sailor is another dribbler who somehow made it into the media, I like Girds and usually respect what he says but I can't agree with him at all. The effort was there but it doesn't mean we played well. Try replying to anything else I had posted. As I said if they were negative you would of posted it anyway and be pissing in your knickers.

Chambers is facing a 5 week ban.

If Hayne got injured and had to leave the field, putting Chambers on report does sweet FA. The merkin can still play the rest of the game. Unless Chambers gets sent off who cares?

Yep.

Great, great effort - but as good as the Storm are, they gave us plenty of opportunities to put some points on, and we did nothing.

Moses really concerns me - he genuinely is a carbon copy of Sandow (ie: plays well 1 in every 5 games, and is a downhill skier).

Norman I can excuse - the club has said he is not wanted (God knows why - he's twice the player Moses is), so it's natural he would drift in and out.

But Moses...he does my head in.

Oh, so the Storm are down to 13 fit men, have their hooker out, are playing back-rowers on the wing, and dropping the ball?

Awesome! Let's up up a midfield bomb!

I mean, what the actual f**k?

Seriously, he has no footy brain.

Once again, the effort and attitude was outstanding - but that loss is down to our halves' inability to create anything.

And seeing as Salmon is:

(1) 19 years old
(2) playing only his third game of NRL at First Grade level
(3) not a natural half,

then the blame lies on Moses' shoulders, imo.

I don't believe I have ever witnessed a more irritating player in the Blue and Gold.
