They wanted to show how loved he is, but bent us over regardless, that’s what happened we gave him a chance, put in him in shop front window…rest is history

Worked out well another masterful idea by BA ..

Blaize was the Aussie under 18s or 19s halfback so our club plays him at centre then goes no wait you should go fullback but we are going to play you in every position in first grade before we actually develop you and your skills and have a clear plan.

Gus and Gallen ripped into us deep in the post match segment. Gallen’s points were meh… a lot of players have options contracts and it’s all about the players at the Eels and not the club.

Gus said Ryles has a massive job ahead of him and trying to buy a whole new squad won’t work. Said Parra are always looking for the quick fix instead of development.

Slater said Ryles might just be the man to turn it all around and get players wanting to play for Parra.

Nothing ground breaking but there you have it.

Gus said trying to buy a whole squad won't work?

Ummmmmmmmmmm.

Doggies 1 developed player in their first grade squad...

We don't need to buy many players really now.

Decent enough starting 13 next year ffs ..

Interestingly Ryles and Gus are mates, regularly chat. Gus even mentioned it on his podcast this week, how they recently caught up for a chat/coffees after Ryles was appointed

Gus has a agenda with everything he says.

I wouldn't trust that cretin with anything.

Phil Gould boasted about how basically every single player from 2 years ago is no longer at the Bulldogs. He did the same thing he said we shouldn’t do.

I watched both channels post match reviews.
Fox had Munster...Parker said and paraphrasing now that he liked parras performances last couple of weeks and players left are having a crack but knows a season like this players just want it to end. They then threw to Munster.
He said Ryles will clean the joint up, said to parra players after the game at Commbank good luck with ur pre-season you're going to need it once Ryles takes over and then had a little chuckle.
Said Ryles will have this team more mentally tougher and grittier next yr.
Said it will be a different Parra next year.
Also defensive structures under Ryles will be key like what he did when he went back to Storm.
In summary he was very praiseworthy of Ryles. Knows he's tapping players to shape the roster the way he wants and obviously the style he wants them to play.
I'm hoping players he wants gone, go and we start signing players.
We need in my humble opinion
Fullback, Winger, 2nd rower, front rower and a hooker.
If we get these 5 signings we have enough good players to be very competitive again particularly with Ryles approach and Influence.
