I love the fact we've put two big scores leading into the finals, however the big ones for me is only conceding 12 points in the past two games, considering our defense has been a question. Outstanding performance from the guys again.
Good point and what’s interesting is the 2 tries we have conceded have been very similar, striped for numbers on our right edge from a scrum.
Surely we can fix that

I'm the same. Not so much as impressed by the big scores we have put on, but the defensive displays of the past two games as you say.
Our defence has been immense. I love seeing each side slide and choke the opposition's attack. It really isn't that hard but it has mostly worked for the past two weeks.
I'm not quite sure why it has taken us so long to work this out and get it right.
Anyway, it is certainly helping our F and A.
We've still made defensive errors but the scramble is massive on the edges.

The other thing in common was they were both directly after sloppy errors by Drown ..... ffs Dylan!

We always seem to defend a scrum in the middle of the field with 3 on each side even if the attacking team puts 4 on one side. It relies on us sliding well and breaking from the scrum quickly which we don’t always do. We have been caught out a number of times this year.

Both times it’s looked very easy for us to be beaten … much easier then you’d expect at this level

We don’t seem to be able to recover during a scrum play where the lock holds the ball in the scrum, the half back shoots to one side and gets it once the overlap is created and our edge forward is late to defend because he’s stuck in the scrum.

Actually, I liked it when he was on the left

Dyl gets it, he can choose to give it to lane or Paulo or out back to gutho which we didn't do today, that block play, or floater or cutout to sivo and if course he can run it

I spoke last week about decoys
Well, this gives us so many decoys that the defence has to read and many options
It all looks a lot smoother when the defence is sitting back. Either because they're getting rolled through the middle or because they've just given up, like tonight.
