I think the coach may of finally figured out this new thing called MOTIVATION. Or f**king revving the players up. Makes a slight difference doesn’t it. Hopefully that is …
Or the forwards, who are all highly paid professionals, finally pulled their fingers out when it counts. Can they do it 5 weeks in a row ?

Neither can kick and both would be pretty shit halves. If we lost a half early in a game we would be a bit f**ked. But thats the same for most teams.

Rheed, brown and Gutho would need to take on kicking duties.

pretty shithouse to carry essentially 16 players in major games and giving one player (the 17th) a 5-10 minute cameo, who’s there just as cover.

do we need a handicap?

I dont think you need 4 forwards on the bench ... there arent enough minutes

We aren’t getting a great deal from maka, and a lesser extent, Kafusi. Bryce offers something all others don’t.

It’s obvious we play our best footy with a mix of the power game and offloads. Bryce can be a contributor

Listening to the TCT instant reaction pod, I think that the glowing accolades are a tad overblown. [Yeah not an invitation for a TCT sledge merkins]

Brisbane lost their quarterback in the first 20m, they then got hit with the injury stick for the rest of the match.

Whilst I was pleased that we took advantage of their misfortune and was thankful that the footy gods finally favoured us, I'm too scarred to get super enthusiastic about last night.

quarterbacks don't really defend and he probably wouldn't have prevented any of our points

We did what we had to do.

Reynolds going down allowed us to sniff blood in the water and took full advantage of it.

Brisbane have also fallen off a cliff but it was nice we were ruthless and if we had scored a bit earlier in the 2nd half i reckon we would have got to 70.

Once Papa scored in the 66 min the floodgates opened again.

Melbourne next week is a perfect match to get battle hardened before the finals after a few soft kills which we probably needed for momentum.

I don't know about resting players yet next week i believe finishing 5th and avoiding souths while playing canberra or brisbane week 1 is still the way to go if we cant make the top 4. And force Roosters & Souths to kick one of themselves out week 1.
