f**k you are a dumb merkin. Do you think everyone who displays poor form has either chosen to play poorly or they must be needled up? There are a heap of reasons players might be displaying poor form. In Juniors case it is most likely fatigue / burn out from the amount of footy he’s played in the last 18 months.
We can still make it mathematically... until Raiders beat Bulldogs today, and (if that doesn't happen) until we lose to the Panthers on Thursday night, or (if we win) until the Cowboys beat the Dophins on Friday night, or (if that doesn't happen) until the Roosters beat the Wests Tigers on Saturday night, or (if that doesn't happen) until the Rabbitohs cash in their Round 26 bye on next Sunday night - provided we've beaten Penrith by about 40+ points or something.

Fatigue/burnout? Has he played any more games than anyone else? He's played two fewer games this year than plenty of merkins. He also had a late start to the pre-season. Maybe that's the problem. It is possible to lose fitness during competition, since games only go for 80 minutes (and Paulo plays less than 80) and they need to recover before the next match. Paulo could've gained five kilos of fat during the five weeks of the World Cup.
I think the efforts to sign Tapau were based on BAs lack of faith in Emu, Oggy and Moretti. Nek minit we have a few tu*ds that someone has polished very nicely. Problem was BA forget to cancel his order and MON went and signed Offa.
Yeah a reaction to rivals paying starter money to merkins we only need to use for 30 minutes. We couldn't have kept Kaufusi or Niukore because teams wanted them for longer minutes than we needed to give them. Instead we needed players at the Taupau/Ofahengaue price point. Pretty sure merkins were putting shit on Stone for being our third choice hooker (behind Lussick btw). Stone also played hooker for the Dolphins this year. I suppose Bennett has no clue either.
