8-0 was even more flattering
That too
8-0 was even more flattering
If brown doesn't do a double movement we probably score and win 28-4. That was tackle 1 when he got pinged. So we had another 4 plays to either score or wind the clock down in the last 4 mins on the attack.I could tell at the ground that Storm found some energy at 0-22 and we were celebrating and clock watching. Concerning ? Nah.
I think of all our recent final series under BA this is probably the 1st time we can truly believe we are good enough. Not only do we know we can beat the top dogs we are in good form leading in.
Dogs aren't playing in September irrelevant now.Settle down. I mean, I know we easily beat the best team the Dogs could throw at us a couple of weeks ago, but I'm not sure that's a reason to believe we'll win the comp?
I thought my post was clearly in jest! Read what I quoted and what I wrote again.Dogs aren't playing in September irrelevant now.
Fair enough. I still think it's that sort of mindset (celebrating early and clockwatching) plus Drown's silly double movement that @King-Gutho94 referred to that's holding us back from being that elite premiership winning team we all want to be. We just need to keep learning and improving. We had a chance to inflict a bit of long term psychological damage on them last night, a 20+ point win ina top 4 shoot out would have been a statement. It ended 3 tries all with shit goalkicking from them and a couple of penalties sealing it for us. They probably took a a few positives out of both teams finishes....I could tell at the ground that Storm found some energy at 0-22 and we were celebrating and clock watching. Concerning ? Nah. They needed to score 4 converted tries in 8 mins to bothers us. We had sealed the top 4. Game over.
Sorry mate I probably need to settle down haha finals footy has got me all excited.I thought my post was clearly in jest! Read what I quoted and what I wrote again.
Probably just wasn't funny. Sorry all.
Anyone think it is a coincidence that jake has played the last ten minutes at hooker against both the warriors and storm and both times we conceded two late tries in a flurry
his positioning is so poor that it stuffs up the rhythm
Or is it too small a sample size?
for me it’s a massive concern next week and hopefully beyond - he can’t be the back up hooker
It was the last 10 minutes mate. The team clocked off.
Not sure how you can pin that on JA.
Do you have evidence to suggest all tries scored in that time period were directly related to JA being at hooker?
This lunatic was running around near us. He's supposed to be a TeleTubby.
To be fair, it reads a lot like a post any nuthugger around here would post if we lost by 8, 3 tries apiece and Mitchell Moses or Drown missing...
Rheed is responsible for our line speed. We lost that when he went off.
Maybe paps just loves the look of jas legs and wish he had legs like that and it distracted himYes JA must have gotten Ice all excited when he came onto the field which caused him to lose focus and allow 2 tries in.

But a win is a win and we're every chance from here. Bring it on.
