Does that sound right ?

Yeah it is a bit annoying that storm will take a fair bit out of that game last night due to the last 10 minutes given the likelihood of us playing again in 2 weeks.
Once again though as many of us have been saying all year, last night was a perfect example of how our backrowers need a break on occasions. I reckon if Papa has a 10 minute spell at around 50-55 minute mark, 2 of those tries don't happen. And the same could be said about Lane in some games this year. Even if BA insists on Jake taking up a spot on the bench, throw Marata on an edge for 10

Ahh I think if we lose we stay on the friday for the finals in week 2 and 3 if we get there.

But if we win the prelim will be on the Saturday 24th as normally the winner of 1 v 4 QF gets the last prelim final due to draw swapping over with each other and avoiding 6 day turnarounds from week 2 to week 3.

Was a great 70 mins, very good, don’t underestimate the storms defence…

Drown’s double movement was pure stupidity and change the result from great to ok….it was pure madness.

then we just got into cruise control, and let it some very soft tries in!!

Very disappointing, however on the other hand, if we had won 28 to 4, the media wouId be talking us up massively all week. The last couple of tries will let us lay low all week with minimal media talking us up.

interestingly Storm finished with 58% of the ball. Didn’t seem like that.

On the game was sitting behind the storms goal line second half…

there was at least 4 to 5 occasions within the storms attacking structure the ball carrier ran behind his player. Was clear as day…

surely that’s a penalty? Or does it not matter unless a player is blocked

Dominated Storm in every aspect last nite.
Dominated ruck so Grant and Smith hardly had a run all match.
Dominated possession and territory, had more offloads and tackled Storm out of match causing their mistakes. Munster had a very poor game and their forwards being dominated probably lead to this.

Where we failed imo was playing with 15 players and not giving edge forwards any break - BA failed us here!

Klien is the worst ref in the NRL he has no idea about being consistent. If that was us leading by 22 and ran behind our own player its a penalty. because the Storm are behind by 22 its ok.

Same as the Munster high shot later in the game a few times we were hit high nothing from Klien.

We basicaly played with 2 x forwards. BA wanted another prop. Imagine we did land Lodge or Klemmer and had them coming off bench.

Unless N.Brown is back I just don't see Makatoa or JA getting more then 20mins between them.
It may be our weakness come finals not having one more good forward.
I'd prefer N.Brown and Bryce over Makatoa.
Not big on JA but I'd rather a utility on the bench then 4 forwards.
The problem is we only have 15 genuine first graders available for selection. However we need to pick 17 so the remaining two spots are going to be guys we hope we don’t need to give long minutes.

Win and it unchatered territory since 09
Really it would be Unchartered territory since 05 as that was last time we won the qualifying final and got a week off. Didn’t work out so well for us back then, and funnily it could play out that we once again play the Cowboys in a prelim..
