We were excellent and should have played like that more often. However, it was clear that the Panthers weren't at their best and I think other teams would have beaten them in that game. They nearly got beaten by the Dragons recently as well. I can't see them winning the comp this year.

They where not at best. But either where we. Moses is a big loss and even tho Lane played he wasn't starting and nothing like the influence he was when in form.
I thought Joe O showed some promise with nice footwork and good carries.

I feel like we are a side that if in the game fights hard but as soon as the opponents get on top we roll over to quickly. We just stayed on top and put in the effort. I'm not convinced yet we can continue this but let hope the players look at themselves hard in the mirror with the exception of 4 or 5 guys.
The squad is decent. It should be pushing top 4 not missing finals. A wasted season.

I thought they where lucky to beat Manly. A bad refs call amd a Crighton intercept.
Only way I see them winning it is if the defense keeps sides under 14 which its capable of. The attack is ordinary.

You probably need to also look at the stats from the first half, we're we had the game realistically won by half time.

But then all those games where we let the opposition get a big lead, then we play catchup and score a few tries and end up losing by less than a try were all bs. Bea spins it like we were in it and that match was close, but were we really in it?

Or, it's an 80 min game so we really played well this game as the stats were so against us for the whole 80?

Didn't BA , some weeks back now, say we are not able to play the whole 80, or thats its not possible to play the 80...
