1. Thank f**k it wasn’t 36 degrees again yesterday. Last week was horrible.

2. A loss always sucks. A loss to the Dogs ten times as much. However, I was happy we at least put up somewhat of a fight and didn’t make it easy for them.

3. If Dylan Brown couldn’t tackle I’d be dropping him. He is a passenger out there in attack. Yesterday was the kind of game where he should have over 20 runs, especially close to the line.

4. It’s nice to not have 30+ points scored on us for once, even if we did still lose.

5. We were f**king terrible in second halves last year. This year so far we are much better in second halves of games.

6. Zac Lomax is awesome and tries his heart out. More players like that please.

7. Lining up for hot chips at halftime took forever. I more blame my kid who had to eat something. Bloody kids.

8. There were some absolute deadshit Dogs fans around us where we were sitting. One actually had to get told off by some Parra fans for screaming in a young girl’s face when the dogs scored a try. Looked like the kind of bloke who only began following them again last year because they weren’t shit anymore.

9. We might not be able to win it this year…but we can still make the finals. Go Parra.

10. f**k Canterbury.
Ten times over. And again for good measure.

At the moment Moses doesn’t need to make himself unavailable for Origin.
Chinry will be picked and until Moses returns and shows form, Luai, Galvin and maybe even Hynes (at least to selectors) are ahead of him.
Lomax is the one we’ll lose to Origin
If fit, Moses walks into the nsw halves even with one game or NRL under his belt in 10 months.

Hynes will never be given a shot again unless 6 halves go down. Galvin way too green. Luai would be 3rd choice.

In terms of shitty goals for this season, I agree if we can lift to 12th (it feels f**ked even saying it) that’ll be step in right direction it feels like. But I still want us to win the f**ken premiership. There’s no law written that says we f**ken can’t

That makes sense.

But, counterpoint - Mitchell is the halfback that (1) steered NSW to the series win last year, and (2) won a game in Queensland [the decider, no less], which hasn't been done since before Mark Gasnier was toey.

He's surely have to be given the 7, if he's fit...

There's no law, per se, but this is Parramatta - the place is cursed to ensure mediocrity.

10. f**k Canterbury.

4. I think the last time we conceded 16 or less was against them last year Round 1 and boy that feels like a long time.

2. and 10. Yes I wouldve love to have beaten Canterbury and to point 8, were any of their supporters in their late teens with stupid haircuts with a moe they could barely grow?

There was a bunch of them trying to bait us as we were walking towards the car park and still chanting "Fox is a wanker". Fk me I thought they got rid of those clowns.

All things being equal he should definitely be picked (it may be my blue and gold glasses, but based purely on Origin, I’d pick him before Chinry) but unfortunately for him, he’s injured and he’ll only get handful of games beforehand to prove his fitness. He’ll have to be playing out of his skin to get selected for game 1 at least. Which would be good news for us so I hope he does get selected

But I don’t think it’s unreasonable given his role and pay cheque to expect him to at least try to lead. It’s not like it’s just been a one-off occurence

Agreed, its not, but it still doesn't chnge the fact that I dont think its part of his game

It’s amazing how much a group of supporters could all look the same.
Black trackies with the elastic ankles, pair of white or black runners, shit haircut for the guys.

Tight black leggings with white sneakers and a shit tonne of makeup for the girls.

The club didn’t get rid of them, they were just in hibernation until they got a few wins on the board again.

And? Would you reward others who were playing like dogshit?
I think he’s capable of playing better but the risk/reward of continuing to play him gets closer to risk every week. Hawkins was the one at half time talking in the huddle, then in the second half he was the one who took over organising and we finally looked competent.
It just means that’s not Drown’s job. He is in the team for running and tackling, two things he does better than Hawkins. Drown at his worst is still well inside our top 17. Whether the Knights are overpaying him is not a factor.

Cumberland throw guys went pretty hard which I agree with.. Hopgood and Williams attempt at tackle was terrible and I would have given them a straight up F.

Lane and Kuatonga(didn't spell check) taking 3 runs in the first half....
