Because of his class. His current form is temporary.

He only has 20 odd weeks to prove it’s only temporary form. The longer it goes, the less relevant whether it’s temporary or not becomes.

It just means that’s not Drown’s job. He is in the team for running and tackling, two things he does better than Hawkins. Drown at his worst is still well inside our top 17. Whether the Knights are overpaying him is not a factor.

Again it’s not unreasonable given experience and pay packet to expect him to suck up his feelings about having to do things he’s less capable at and just f**ken do them. And do your honestly reckon the Knights overpaying him isn’t a factor? Whether factual or not, he’s been playing like he’s already picked up his board and off to Nobbys or off on a Hunter winery tour. If I’m a teammate, it raises the question in my mind (I shudder to think how Moses may have reacted if he was playing), and a lot of them have been playing like Brown is also already mentally gone. And with each game that he and them play like that, the narrative continues.
It’s the player option problem all over again. I reckon you’ve had dealing with audits. Perceptions count and optics matter.

Cumberland throw guys went pretty hard which I agree with.. Hopgood and Williams attempt at tackle was terrible and I would have given them a straight up F.

I will say after that try both Hopgood and Williams upped their defence game.. But that first try was horrendous.. Williams did the same thing against the Storm..
