Rd4 2022: Non Parra games

It feels like players leading with legs/knees only happens on their own goal line. Nowhere else on the field when attempting or assisting a tackle do players slide/lead with their legs.... Why is it so?
Probably because the attacker is much lower and the defender is often coming from the side. And there would be more desperation as well.

As much as I dislike Brisbane they are being dead set killed by the ref,

3 reports and a sin bin for Flagler and none of them were even legit penalties. Ref “didn’t like force of contact” - I’m sorry but it’s football - you can hit legally as hard as you want you dipshit

Katoni Stags has been bog average this year so far. Coming back from major injury would I’m sure mess with your confidence, but he certainly looks like he’s struggling in both attack and defence. He doesn’t look anything like a $800K+ player at the moment

It’s the inconsistency that gives me the shits. He was sin binned for nothing and other blokes who should be sent off go on report.

Nowhere else on the field is the position of the ball a matter of inches (other than the sideline). That's why you see so many wingers jam in against an overlap on their tryline whereas away from the line they're more likely to back off and wait for the cover to come across. It's the same thing with a runner diving for the tryline. If they were diving for the 30m line the fullback has no reason to care. There's no desperation to make the tackle because there's no difference between a play-the-ball 31m and 29m out.
