The issue is who they signed and what paid.
JAC is not an upgrade on Cotric. He was just in a better side.
Burton is the only guy I would be excited about however he can't do it alone and looks a bit she'll shocked.
Mahoney is a solid buy but top dollar was paid.
TPJ is not worth 800k as lacks consistency and either is Kikau who is going to be 28 for the best part of next season. Not that old but he doesn't seem that type of player who will stay motivated untill early 30s.

I'm also certain Burton only had a 2yr deal with 3rd year in his option. So come Nov 1 that means he is on the market. He will be asking for 1 million for 2024 and there will be half a dozen clubs prepared to pay it.

Yes, because he clearly flex his knee to make contact with his foot. No brainer for an 8 point try. But he doesn't deserve any further punishment (or at most 1 week if they want to get dicky). What deserves a penalty and what deserves a suspension are very different things.
