So we kicked a penalty goal in the 6th min to hit the front and only led for 10 mins before Gutho's first try and didn't lead until the FG in ET.

So what's that 405 mins played this year we have only led for 10 mins and that was a 2-0 lead.

We won't know what to do with ourselves if we have 6 or 8 point lead in a game

So do the backline changes remain ?
peni right centre and lomax right wing makes most sense and Russell played well at left centre.
Surely they stay as is with the only question do simo or Samrani force their way in
Lomax seemed to have a license to roam and all the players woukd slide to allow him to play whatever position he f**king wanted.

Agree, that the centre spot is up for grabs. TBH I am not a fan of Russell. I think both Simmo and Jordan offer more. Maybe young Penisini more than them both later in the year. I know that centre is all about D these days, but you‘d really like a player who could make a tackle break now and then.

Simmo was less than average in the 2s yesterday. Samrani was better but Ive seen much better from him.

I thought Simonsson and Samrani played well yesterday.
Simonsson had a lot more involvement and looks to be trying to adjust with the speed and get match fitness after the ACL. Samrani again had some very good carries and he is basically saying to the opposition you need to tackle me to bring me down.
He absolutely murdered their hooker...straight over the top of him...poor bugger hope he's OK..
I still reckon we should be looking to make Samrani a hole running backrower who can still do the tough carries.
As Ryles keeps saying can see the green shoots

However Kautoga's second half goal line missed tackle for the Dragons try that got them to 20 was appalling.
Na, he chop down Flanagan, one on one perfectly close to the line (and didn't fall for Leilua as a decoy).

However no-one came in to help him, slow the play the ball down. Hawkins was close by and should have helped.

Kautoga couldn't move back into position, which is almost impossible in that situation. He actually gets up pretty quickly but was no chance to stop Gutho while moving backwards.
