He’s not playing five eighth, he’s playing halfback. Look at how often he passes Moses the ball.

Continuing with Pezet after his injury would be moronic. We need to prepare for next year. Volkman let’s see how he goes. Lorenzo from what I saw, and I haven’t see all that much is that he’s got a good running game but passing was limited. Maybe he’s improved I don’t know. Haven’t seen much of his defence either, maybe Someone here can give us an update on his overall game

we saw the impact of twidle. Young blood and hungry. We need more of this.

all I know is that Pezet is a dud so let’s not help the broncos.

Any team forced to play this many backups will perform worse. It doesn’t mean the backups are worse than the merkins at other clubs. Backups generally suck which is why they’re backups.

I think Moses is still very good- but he’s trying too hard. He is playing behind a beaten forward pack, with an average half next to him. So he tries to create big plays when they aren’t on. If the team was better he would be able to pick his moments. I don’t think he has the ice Cleary has though.

Just throwing it out there as a genuine question . Has any player partnered with Mitch at NRL level truly flourished ? I often watch and wonder how much actual mentoring he does out there ? I get he’s running a team , debating referees , watching the oppositions plays . But I’ve never observed him having a calm discussion with a young bloke after a shit play. Only blowing up. Don’t get me wrong , some times call for the big dummy spit .
