Eddie Jones in the coaches box yesterday was an interesting addition.

Ryles said Eddie had been at training all week.

Providing feedback to himself and all the coaches.

To me shows a coach that's willing to park his ego to keep learning and grow as a coach to get his mentor's perspective on how things are being handled.

Really good mentor to have, too - Eddie Jones is a hell of a coach.

Rewatching the game last night without the live emotional roller-coaster a few things stand out.

We looked like a club reborn all of sudden we had fire, passion & it looked like the jersey/game meant something.

Dylan Brown has lost a yard pace and clearly still clueless on when to pass & when not too in pressure moments.

Like the hospital pass to JAC was borderline stupidity at that stage of the match.

The 2 moments though that sum it up for me were the ones involving Turuva's antics.

The kick at Iongi when he scored i haven't seen Sean Russell react and show that much emotion in his whole career then you had another 4 or 5 parra players rush in as well before any tigers got there to have each others backs when the push & shove started.

Then the Turuva sling on Ryley Smith. You can't blame Moretti for grabbing in but the fact there were another 4 or 5 parra players there again first willing to defend a mate & get stuck into an opposition player for doing that to a team mate speaks volumes of the unity in the group.

Then when that has happening when the refs were binning blokes we were all in a huddle dialled in as a team.

While Luai basically walked back to his position and all the Tigers were spread out no communication or pep talk after Bully boy Turuva lost the plot.

It makes you wonder how many of these tigers players not in the Ex-Penrith click are actually comfortable with whats gone on in the past week and the isolation / public mocking of a team mate.

And the fact the environment created would make a few players worried about speaking up because if you disagree with Jarome or Api you going to be on the outer.

And Shane Richardson in the press conference was embarrassing since when does the CEO interrupt a post match press conference.
I think the Smug ideas of training are being shown at Tigers and Dogs. Ciraldo is probably lucky it only affected the one player (publicly) and that he had Gould backing him to sweep it under the rug. But I don’t think Luai, Api & Turuva are the people to administer change management in a constructive way.

100%. The effort in the players yesterday is something we arent used to seeing and its great seeing blokes dig in and play with passion.

I'm happy to see the new experienced players like Fox and Walker rev the team up and I cant wait to see Lomax back because he was doing the same before he got injured.

Moses back in the side makes a huge difference and the team lifted. The young kids like Tuivati, Smith, Iongi are only going to get better

One player I want to give a wrap to Bailey Simonsen, its so great to have him back from a long injury period and you can see he really wants to play for us. He never gives up and his runs are outstanding. Sign him life I reckon.

Bailey played like a guy that just got told he got removed from the famous @Avenger shit list and vowed never to be back on it ever again.

I remember a lot of Eels fans weren’t too happy when we gave him that three-year extension late last year, especially since he was still coming back from a serious injury. But I reckon we got him on a pretty good deal, and if he keeps playing like this, it’s looking like a fairly astute re-signing.

Moses - 6
Kelma - 2
Luai - 2
Iongi - 1
Hopgood - 1

based on that I’m entirely certain the judges didnt watch the game. Saw the headlines that Moses had a blinder and then just chose some other players for the minor points.

Kelma and Hopgood were not in the top 5 players in the eels team let alone in the game

Luai was absolutely ratshit. If anyone from the tigers deserved points it was May.

The Dally Ms are a joke and who's idea was it to have two judges, not a simple 321 system and not name who the judges are?

Also Hopgood and Tuilagi were no where near the efforts of Moretti and Tuivati. Lui getting points haha, pleasee. I thought the refereeing was bad enough yesterday.

This sums up how pathetic these "judges" are. Manly flogged the Cowboys, and the Cowboys winger got a point.

Yeah, we had more hunger more everything. The period with 11 men was awesome.

Sean Russell react and show that much emotion in his whole career

With all our past speedsters, Grothe, Grothe Jnr, McKinnon, Delroy, Semi, Jarryd and plenty more, they would all back themselves to score.

Dyl had no confident he would score.

What shat me also was that they didnt spread it to the left after the break but took a hitup with Moretti. Huh?

Seano was super agro against Gutho in the drags game.... I thought it weird as Guth was his mentor

I think that yellow jersey is great but need blue pants to make the outfit great overall. The all yellow is a bit much.

I don't like the all yellow too. Like I wouldn't be caught wearing full canary yellow in the streets.

I reckon the heritage jersey (i think it was '86 one) should've had enough contrast to have been worn.

I agree with you Moretti was outstanding and his injection changed the momentum.
