We saw today the style of play that Ryles wants and it was always going to take more than on off season to implement.

Doorey, Moretti, Tuivati, Williams and even Paulo played fast and up the middle. Fix our edges a bit and bring Lomax back into this side and we win some more games.
f**ken oath mate. We'll be on the up here soon enough.

Obviously Moses
Moretti
Tuivati
Superman - damn he’s strong

Dylan Brown - what were the Knights thinking? Wow absolute plodder.

Ref sin binnings were a joke an absolute joke. What an idiot.

Defence is still shit. Markers are always struggling to be on side. Can’t believe some of the lapses.

Spot on.
We actually saw today a bit of Melbourne Storm in our play. This was what I was expecting Ryles to bring to us.
We also saw some absolute mongrel from our forwards in defence.
Ryles is only into his 7th match as our coach. Today saw more commitment, discipline and determination than I have seen for quite a while. It was always going to take time and there is still so much to improve on. Yet, he is laying a platform already. He is certainly no Kearney.
As for today, Moses led the team so well, and that kick to Simonsen was the icing on the cake but it was a whole team effort that got us over the line. Just brilliant.

I've got to say though that our best player today was
Smith. He was absolutely pumped.
Moses and JAC were clutch players and will get all the plaudits, but fair dinkum, Riley was absolutely on another level all game.
Yes, he missed some tackles and made some other mistakes, but he was everywhere, always putting pressure on Tiges players, and tackled his heart out.
That sort of stuff always goes unnoticed when it comes down to MOTM awards. It's always the flashy players that get the points.
Riley was my MOTM.
