Absolutely i am sick hearing from people that we overachieve as a team. Its a load of BS. To give yourself the best chance to win a comp you have to finish top 2.

And that means winning 19-20 games in a season. If you can stand up and withstand the best Melbourne and Penrith can throw at you then we should be on par with Melbourne and Penrith on the ladder.
You can't be up every week. If we're up for a game vs Melbourne or Penrith and they're not don't you think it's more likely we'll win?

It's also helped big time having the back 3 make over 600m. Keeps the pack of tackling hounds nice and fresh when in many sets only 2 or 3 runs a made by the forwards.
If I was going to build a team that's how I'd do it. That was the Roosters' general game plan when they won the 2018 premiership. Tedesco, Ferguson and Tupou would make 50-60 runs every week, keeping their forwards fresh for filthy smothering defence.

We may win or we may looooose, and sometimes you need luck. Gee thanks scoop!!
Well phrase your questions better then you dopey merkin. Don't confuse can/can't with did/didn't. But understand what you're implying when you talk about 'can't win in week two of the finals' or 'can beat Melbourne and Penrith'. Just because it happened that way twice, four times or a dozen times, doesn't mean it's going to happen the same way next time. We're a realistic chance of losing to Penrith and/or Melbourne next time we play them, regardless of what happened before. Likewise we are a realistic chance of getting to week three of the finals. Whether we do or not will involve some good or bad luck, as in every game. The way you talk about all this shit as being inevitable frustrates the less stupid members of the forum. The future is an open book, merkin.

Well let Bea and MON know you f**king merkin!!
Nobody gets to build a team from scratch ffs, except the merkins running the Miami Dolphins. They might not be constrained by the contracts already in place, like clubs with existing squads, but they are by the limited availability of players in a given year. Don't ever think I'm claiming there are easy solutions. That's your game.

It was never in doubt you pathetic negative loser.

You need to have some faith in this coach and his brilliant mind.

Stop riding him all the time like a G-string up his crack.

It's dumb arse nut baggers like you that never enjoy the wins and just expect way to much from our middle of the road over achieving club that constantly takes the shine off our great two or three awesome performances a season.

Pull your head in you twat waffle pin head, it's time to appreciate what we have and our extensive limitations.

Clown-Dick!!!
Well played.

Yes Moses is an ordinary defender but most halfbacks are. Moses, Moylan, Brooks, Munster and Sam Walker are all missing over four tackles a game. It's acceptable if their kicking or playmaking is essential to the team.
No hes not and neither is Munster.

Gotta give @hindy111 some kudos, he called it early, give Simonsson 10 games or so and then judge him.

Simonsson is really warming to the task....

Yes I know my footy. Except people say I was fence sitting. I called it for what it is. He looked gash but wanted to give him 10 games to see if he gelled and found his feet.
