Just watched the replay again (because I’m a fkn masochist) and that Mahoney try that was disallowed because ‘it wasn’t an acceptable play the ball’ is one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen.

On both feet and rucked it back with his foot. Can’t believe we didn’t challenge it. The bunker would’ve had no option but to award it (unless they went back 37 tackles to find an infringement again)

If it was worthy of a penalty , he should have sin binned the knights players as was a try scoring situation

Huh.

Every single run he was given to get us off our line he made good tough meters,

And f**k he made a few of them

In attack the guy aint getting any quality ball outside Wanga, I wouldn't be writing him off for that.

No he just needs a rest I feel. He isn't dangerous anymore.

So you reckon Stefano is in trouble for hugging every Poly in the grandstand? What happened to Benji when he kissed that reporter? Has the bubble rules advanced since then ?

They are talking about taking 2 points off eels for the win

I think the rule is that you can’t be falling over as you play the ball. He was def falling over as a result of the Knights infringement. So it’s a penalty. They couldn’t play on because he didn’t play the ball correctly.

Play the advantage ffs. What about the game against Penrith (I think) where we knocked it on, their winger ran 40m upheld and got tackled, and the ref called it back cause "they got no advantage because he was too close to the sideline"?

Refs make up shit every week.

In which case Klemmer should have been binned, there is no doubt that it was a try scoring situation, and Reed is denied the try he otherwise makes due to Klemmer's infringement.

There's no room for guesswork there as Reed f**king grounds the ball.

Knights were there own worst enemy. How many tries did they butcher in the first 20min?

Reed , RCG. Paulo and Nrown were fantastic. Gutho showed a lot of smarts too with an amazing heads up play. About time we were allowed to take a quick tap!

I reckon we did target him. Doesn’t mean we hit him illegally but.
100%, but you don’t win the game if you don’t put pressure on the halves and on the tackle 5 option. Dylan Brown’s attacking kicks are great when he has space, but he shits his pants under pressure. It was no coincidence that the end of our sets were ordinary.

Drowns got a good mid kicking game but needs to work on short and long. And I think when he’s put under pressure he thinks run, which isn’t the worst thing, until it falls into a turnover on halfway
